Japan Edo period 1820s Bunsei era Sculpture of a Buddhist Temple Priest , this sculpture was collected in Japan in the 90s from Kagoshima area . This piece is a multi block wood carving with gesso sumi and gold leaf with glass eyes. The sitter was revered by his temple for his deeds. Size W13" D 8" H 16"

Ancient Khmer carved stone temple head fragment of a male Deity. the face appears to be in untouched condition but the hair- headdress may have some recarving .Mounted on an iron stand. Size W 4" H 6.5"overall H 11"

Nicely carved feminine fetish with a fine coiffe, serene face with lowered lids, elongated neck, holding her breasts with both hands, and showing scarifications around her belly. Wood, with fine dark glossy patina. A piece of old textile of red color is meant to represent a skirt. Africa, D.R. Congo, Luba ethnic group. Height: 9 3/8" (23,7 cm). The figurine is mounted on a custom metal stand. Remnants of old insect infestation, (no danger), otherwise very good condition.

Fantastic Chinese Turquoise- cream and aubergine glazed porcelain Fahua style Jardiniere. This is of the southern fahua style with a white body and raised channels , scenes of figures in a garden with rui clouds and borders . There is no damage and there is a mark on the base Size H 14" W 20"

Antique carved OX bone bead strand with a well cut floral pendant c 1920s pendant 2" by 1.5" closed length 17" + pendant or 28" around . Good condition some age toning to the cowbone
