Large three-legged stoneware dish of asymmetrical shape with a carved and enameled non-figural motif in yellow, blue, red and green on white. The three legs articulated in white against a black background. 1950's, unsigned, in the style of Kostanda, Rivier, Fidler or Derval. Width "12/ 30 cm, height "2¾/ 7 cm. Condition: two of the legs restuck (cf. last photo).

Decoration in bright enamels of a gardener with his tools and flower pots.The back with impressed Vallauris mark and painted MC (painters signature) and Cerenne Vallauris. Cerenne (=CRN) was the signature used by one of the largest ceramic workshops in Vallauris, led by Charles René Roger Neveux. Diameter "8¾/ 22,5 cm. Condition: small rubbing to the glaze just outside the right flower.

All probably by Cérenne. Height "3 ¼/ 8 cm to "5 ¾/ 14,5 cm. Condition: the jug with a minimal flake to the rim.

A pair of 3-1/4" miniature bud vases or knife rests made in Austria by Bimini. These "Caterpillar" vases were in production from 1925-35 and were issued in various colours. In light green and red/orange, these Austrian art glass table decorations are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are secondhand and may have slight signs of gentle use...
Japanese rectangular suzuribako, lidded lacquer box with artfully and beautifully done with a dramatic design of blooming red hibiscus and its leaves, lacquer is raised and colors appear in layers, a most unusual and lovely technique, Taisho Period, signed and sealed tomobako: Setaro Imai, born Meiji 26 (1894).
