Pair of Mid-Century Modern Diz armchairs by Sergio Rodrigues (1927-2014), Brazil. Solid wood and curved plywood structure. The wood has been varnished to maintain its natural characteristics.

Set of four Chinese jade archer rings. One is a white jade with russet inclusions, one is a celadon, one is a jadeite and one is of a red colour. All are polished with rounded edges.

German Rosenthal marked Porcelain Charger with handle, serving Platter, 12 1/4" wide include 2 handles, 11 3/4" round, not include 2 handles, 1 1/8" high, beautiful hand painted large floral decoration in brilliant gold in the center in the cobalt blue background and both handles and rim are in gold finish. Underglaze green mark "Rosenthal" "Selb-Germany, Helena" on the bottom. The condition is excellent, specially gold finish.

10 Japanese Lacquer covered bowls with beautiful sprays of Chrysanthemums in gold and red colors continued from the top cover to the side of the bowl, 3 1/2" high with top on, 4 3/4" diameter-rim, gold painted wavy flowing water design under the cover. The condition is good, no damages.

A Steuben gold Aurene cologne bottle only 3 3/4 inches tall with original ball stopper. The stopper and bottle are both marked “1" and the base is marked “Aurene 1818.” The bottle also bears a triangular Steuben Glass paper label.

This large imposing Chinese porcelain vase features a landscape scene typical of those which were popular during the early Republic period. A tall pine needled tree dominates over a wide canopied tree surrounded by rock work and mountains. The surrounding waters host pagodas to which boatmen come and go...

This is a very nice example of a Lowell, Massachusetts, patent medicine complete with box.

The 8.5 inch bottle is in fine condition and sports a label only on the side panel because it is embossed on the remaining three sides. The bottle label is almost complete with modest staining from content leakage.

This medicine retains its original, very decorative box which notes a 1915 date-- apparently when this "new" box was first introduced to the public in August of that year...

A Chinese jade pendant of triangular shape, with pierced and carved decoration showing a bird among foliage. It is finely and delicately executed, the stone is of pale celadon color and the cord of finely pleated silk. The tassels carry colored beads. In very good condition , it dates to the Republican period and measures 2 inches W X 1 1/2 inches high ( 5cm x 3cm)

Latticed windows of gold shine softly through the translucent blue glaze of this shapely vase by Kutani Master Matsumoto Saichi enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The vase is 11 inches (28 cm) tall, and in excellent condition, dating circa 1985, a time of upheaval in the artist life where he established a wood fired climbing kiln in his new home village of Yoshinodani. Saichi comes from a distinguished line of potters, his Father being Sahei and grandfather Sataro...

Cut and Etched Crystal Decanter with top with etched numbers, 12" high, 4 1/4" wide in the widest section, heavy weight, brilliant cut and etched flower design. Etched numbers on the decanter rim and the bottom of the stopper is matching #74 and the condition is good, no damage.

From our World Handicrafts Collection (ex-Asia), a large and very fine Persian rug, hand-woven of wool and silk in a rich and elegant palette of deep red, dark and light blue, tan, mint green, pale orange, and cream.

Size and Condition: 10 feet and 4 inches long (124 inches), 7 feet and 8 inches wide (92 inches). There are some thread pulls and light general wear, but overall condition is excellent.

A lovely set of six sterling silver demitasse spoons in the “Wild Rose” variant of the “Vine” pattern. The bowls are in the elongated shape often seen in Tiffany demitasse spoons and are enhanced with soft matte gilding. Each is stamped with the Tiffany hallmark used 1873-1891. The spoons are accompanied by a Tiffany felt bag of more recent vintage.

The “Vine” pattern was created by Tiffany’s chief designer, Edward C. Moore, in 1872...

This sparkly cubist vase is Fostoria's very popular American pattern. The fire-polished surface creates prisms of light and bits of color across the cubes. It sits on a flared collar foot that features a large rayed star. The body rises to a deeply flared rim. This cushion cover from Hazara district features stylized floral patterns and curvilinear geometric motifs outlined with a top stitch of black thread on mustard-colored cotton. Touches of turquoise and shocking pink combine with rust-colored silk floss thread to create an overall design suggestive of central Asian influence. It measures 41 x 41 cm and is in excellent condition. Late 20th century.

Georgian-style sterling silver water pitcher. Made by Gorham in Providence, ca 1920. Baluster with leaf-capped double-scroll handle, v-lip spout, and round and stepped foot. Gadrooned rim. This is an old man's silk Jyuban, an undergarment worn under a kimono, a luxury from the past. Strange, but you will find quite a work of art in the undergarment, much more than finding them on the outer kimonos. The carps are tie-dyed. Other than a faint stain right above the right side carp, it is in excellent condition. This stain wil not show up unless you look at it under the sun. The measurements are 52" in width and 53" in length. No lining.
