Lovely covered dresser box attributed to Artisti Barovier, circa 1920s. In green with applied pink "pasta glass" details and a beautifully crafted purple and green bunch of grapes on the lid. The entire piece is lightly iridescent, making it glow and reflect in the light. This thin and light piece has a snap pontil, and is a rare piece of early Murano glass. Measures approximately 5" in diameter and 3.5" tall. Excellent condition.
This Miao silver drinking horn would have used for special occasions i.e. prospective in-laws visiting etc. The horn is small 6.5 inches from tip to far rim. The reposse design of dragon and fish is mirrored on each side of the horn.

Beautiful Kutani porcelain vase; hand painted with a scene of Chinese men in the rocky mountains in underglaze blue. The glaze has slightly blueish tint. Signed Kutani. The dimensions of the vase is 9 3/4 inches in height, 5 3/8 pounds in wood box (appears solid). The dimensions of box: 9" x 9" x 11 1/2". Circa, mid 1900s.
Iris & Herringbone was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1928 to 1932. Offered here is the 8 inch luncheon plate in excellent condition. These plates are often found with a satin finish and color wash on the reverse - this on is pastel blue. For more in this pattern, see my other listings.
Hex Optic is one of the earlier depression patterns. It was made by Jeannette Glass from 1928 to 1932 and used extensively in their kitchenware lines. Offered here is the ice bucket in green in excellent condition. This version has the pour spout so that a reamer can be inserted and the bucket serves double duty. it comes with the original metal handle & serving tongs. The Cube, or Cubist, pattern was made by Jeannette Glass Company from 1929 to 1933. It's often confused with Fostoria's American pattern and for good reason: both were designed by the same man. Japanese 20th Century woodblock print portrait of a nun by IKEDA SHU. The print is numbered 4 of 100 and dated 1969. Fine color and impression. There are slight creases in the lower right and left corners. The paper measures 15 1/4" wide by 23" tall. The actual print measures 13" by 20 3/4" tall.

The size of Charger: 12 3/8" Dia x 1 3/4" High. Very Fine Japanese Aote Kutani Charger. Aote is green in Kutani ware terminology which was Miyamoto kiln originated. The charger is made with fine crackle glazing earthenware body finish as many Kutani piece in modern age. It has wonderful workmenship and design of Oshidori(mandarin duck) with Plum tree and bamboo. Striking, tall, a canne verticale vase attributed to Fratelli Toso. Similar designs are shown in Leslie Pinas book "Fratelli Toso" pgs, 22-23. It requires great skill to keep the canes from spiraling, especially in a tall piece. The craftsman who made this kept the canes perfectly vertical. Composed of alternating black and opaline canes, the space between the canes appears to be silver, but on closer inspection the spaces are clear glass which allow light to pass through the piece...

This porcelain bowl was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the mid 20th century. It has both an impressed shield and printed mark. It is 8 1/8 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches deep. The porcelain is designed with molded ribs and slight scallops on the rim. It is hand painted with a bouquet of flowers in the center and little buds dotting the border. The rim is trimmed with gold. The quality and value of this piece is evident in its workmanship.

This elegant "CARNIVALE" vase by Fratelli Toso has polychrome colors and a satin finish. Produced in the 1920's, the CARNIVALLE series is sought after by collectors. This elegantly styled murrine pitcher by Fratelli Toso illustrates the technical expertise that the Muranese artisans possess. Each murrine is individually made and they are assembled and fused to the blowpipe and then blown into this relatively thin and elegant form. Being a glassblower myself, I have great respect for the level of skill demonstrated in vessels constructed with murrine. These were produced in the early 1900's, according to Leslie Pinas' "Fratelli Toso"...
This set of 6 porcelain cups and saucers was produced in Germany by Rosenthal before 1950. The pattern is named “Linnie Lee” decorating an “Ivory” blank. The porcelain is cream colored. The cups have a little pedestal base. It is decorated with a factory transfer of floral sprays and wreathes of flowers. The colors are brightly colored and realistically rendered. The handles and rims are trimmed with gold.
