Being offered is an exceptional and rare circa 1963 sterling silver box by William Spratling, of Taxco, Mexico. Entirely handcrafted rectangular heavy gauge silver lid covering a carved Mexican wood box. Dimensions: 4 1/4 inches long by 3 1/4 inches wide by 1 1/2 inches high. No monogram. Marked as illustrated in photo. In excellent condition.

Inspired the works of Iizuka Rokansai, this open weave basket with richly toned dark red-brown split bamboo has a slightly tapering cylindrical body with an offset loop handle at the top. Signed with an incised signature on the bottom. Comes with a bamboo water container. Dates late 20th century. Measures 8” high including handle, 4.74” diameter. This basket had a very nice sheen to it that is not being captured by the photos. You will be pleased.

Cambridge made applied the Chantilly etch from 1936-58. These shakers a modestly cloudy -- salt was used in both. They have silver plated tops with very minor denting. They stand 3.25" tall.

This stunning vase of dark purple cut-to-clear glass is reminiscent of the fine work done by Bohemian or Belgian glassworks. A lovely Chinese translucent natural gray agate calligraphy brush with a bone ferrule and end cap. Brush is natural hair. The beads are slightly smaller than most, each measuring only .75" diameter (across) x 1" long. It is just beautiful. Brush measures 11.75 inches long.

A fragment of old Chinese micro stitch needlework, 18" by 9 3/4" (23 1/2" by 15" in attractive black frame and light green backing material), the imagery including classic temples, vegetation, insects, and even two tiny figures (and maybe portions of sampan-style boats). The silk stitch is very small and intricate, the colors bright, though I do note that the edges are frayed and at top stained. Proper framing could hide this.

It is brown speckled with green and brown bands in the "Skyline" shape. There are no chips, no cracks, and no repairs to this item. This item is in excellent condition.
