This pendant measures 1 3/4" x 3/4". It features the Pisces Constellation and the Pisces Fish sign / Zodiac Symbol: February 19th - March 20th. It is in excellent condition.
It is marked A&Z STERLING, for The A & Z Chain Company, founded by Carl Ashen and Saul Zeitlin in 1905 in Providence, Rhode Island, as a chain manufacturer. In the early 1970's, The Walter E. Hayward Company (founded in 1851, Attleboro, MA) merged with The A & Z Chain Company and became The A&Z Hayward Company. It is known for making fine sterling silver and vermeil (gold over silver) jewelry pieces.
Various trademarks were used, but they all incorporate the A & Z name of the company.
