An exceptionally detailed and fine style large bronze figure of pregnant woman, Eastern Java, Majapahit Empire, c. 13th.-15th. century AD.

The figure probably representing a Hindu female deity; she is firmly pressing her right breat and holding a sacrificial bowl in her left hand. Seated with loincloth and adorned with jewelry over her othervise naked body. Her hair is done in a typical assymethrical manor of women in the Majapahit Empire.
