Antique Tibetan Buddhist small reliquary in stupa form. Made of glass and covered with gold leaf, this votive offering would have once been housed in a larger container and placed at the foot of an architectural stupa acting as either a funeral mound or housing relics of an important person. The shape, with it's rounded body and terraced lid, imitate the larger stupa, a three dimensional mandala and symbol of Buddha.

Fully hallmarked with Tiffany & Co. and an M dating from 1875-1891, this sterling silver "dolphin" shaped server is in excellent condition. The scene on the handle is "Paris the son of Priam." It has exquisite details even on the back. It is monogrammed with "EW" on the back of the handle. It measures approximately 12" long and 3" at its widest. Some of the gilding on the serving part has worn off. The overall weight is 187.2 grams.

This Sisters' bonnet is black bonnet was probably for special occasions. Over the black silk is a fine black mesh even over the neck ruffle. The bonnet is lined with purple silk that was meant not to show as it is inside the bonnet and the underside of the neck ruffle. It does have some wear around the front edge of the bonnet where the material has pulled away a bit. The netting has some area on the neck ruffle that are rough but in general is displays well.
