A George II Large Footed Cup or Beaker by William Shaw and William Priest and Hallmarked in London, 1756 (clear marks). Dimensions; 4 1/8" high x 4" diameter at top, 2 3/4" at base; weight 6.9 Troy ounces. Some minor wear and a slight bend at the base (see picture). Overall in very good condition.

Pair 18th Century Italian Rococo Gold frame girandole Mirrors, Ca. 1750-1780, 26" high, 16" wide, 7" deep, original mercury glass and original one(1) bronze candle arm for each mirror. Late 18th Century, nicely hand-carved wood Netsuke depicting a Merchant who seems concerned, probably, because he has not been able to sell his stock. He is shown here with his right hand over his head while he is taking a step forward, with his right heel slightly raised.
Very nice stylized touches characterizes this netsuke made during the EDO Period of Japan...
18th century netsuke of a sennin (Chinese sage) wearing a monk’s robe and a leaf cape and skirt, looking to his left and supporting a double gourd on his shoulders. Netsuke represents Chokwaro sennin who could summon the magic horse out of his gourd to be transported wherever he wanted...

With a large inscription in fine writing and here dated ANNO 1733 by the owner, but on the stamps inside the lid, the maker has dated it 1724. Maker is 'Morten Muhlhiesen Smidt' - the original note with a detailed description of the maker etc. in German comes with the sale...
