French or possibly Belgian footed cup and saucer. Decoration of gilding in stripes, and a rose pattern where the gilding has been tooled. The raised handle with a lion’s mask, c 1810-20. Height including handle: 4”/10,5 cm, diam. of saucer: 5 ¼”/13 cm. Condition: some rubbing to gilding, esp. on rim and handle of cup.

The size of Bowl 6 5/8" Dia x 2" High. Japanese Ko Imari Porcelain Bowl. The bowl is bit larger than regular Namasu bowl. The bowl has the unusual design of archer sitting at the front of Japanese house with wave design. Arrow hit dead eye center. There are two sections divided by gold decoration of dragon with flower design around. The condition of bowl excellent, no chip, no crack and no hairline...
This is Japanese beautif silk katsugi-yuzen Kimono textile of the Meiji era(1868-1912). I am very elegant, and it is refined. It has a thin stain. However, it does not stand out, and there is not damage, and it is condition good at all.

Finely detailed carved bamboo bitong with five panels depicting classic three friends of winter and scholar themes. I bought this in Guangxi Zhuang, in 1995, late Republic period. There is a hole intentionally drilled at the bottom, otherwise excellent condition. H: 13.4cm/5.2in and D: 6.8cm/2.8in.
Black-glazed dish of shallow form with thick wall, comprising a small offset between the rounded lip and the foot. Shallow rounded floor.
Warm brownish gloss with fingermarks around the base, where held during dipping. Black all over with reserved bottom.
Fine light beige clay, very much depurated and hard fired. Possibly of northern Campania production.

Blue and white sparrow beak milk or cream jug and lid transfer printed in two rows with a Chinoiserie pattern. Unmarked, English, c 1790. Height including lid "6 ¼ / 16 cm. Condition: the jug with two hairlines, the lid with star crack and rim frits (cf. pics).
Statue of Hanuman, the Monkey Gos, hero of the Ramayana epic, in formal attire, standing on a rectangular pedestal, his hands in praying posture. The statue and the pedestal were cast separately. The statue may thus be removed from the pedestal. Bronze, with fine dark-green patina. India, 19th century. Height: 4 5/8" (11,7 cm). Good condition.
Huangyangmu (rosewood) toggle of a monkey eating the peach of immortality and riding a lion, the lion standing on a drum (the ball inside is broken in 2 pieces). Promotion and longevity symbol.

Four flat dishes with spur marks and so probably Japanese, Meiji c 1900, all with a matted powder blue glaze, also covering the back and the foot rim. Diameter "8/ 20 cm. Condition: minimal glaze frits to the rim of two plates, as seen on photos.
A timely and quirky soy brown glazed Korean War era chopstick holder with political slogans. The left hand column translates as “support your family and the Chinese military”, the right hand “oppose America, support Korea” and the top characters “increase productivity”. Possibly used in a factory canteen this is the only ceramic I have ever seen from this brief period...
19th century Edo period Japanese kashira (metal pommel at the end of the hilt of a sword) with relief depiction of a crane in flight over pine saplings, all on a finely punched ground texture called nanako, which means “fish-eggs” as it resembles fine rows of caviar. Wonderful crisp metalwork, some worn gilding, in great condition. Length 1 1/4 inches.
Late 19th to early 20th century small Chinese jade carving of a coin, each side with a low relief carving of 2 bats in flight among clouds. Beautiful true nephrite jade of white color, very good carving, beautiful finish to the surface, very pleasant to hold. Diameter 0.7 inches, weight 5 grams
