This is an authentic Ushabti figurine from ancient Egypt, dating back to the period between 1200 and 300 BC. The figurine is made of turquoise glazed faience and is decorated with black hieroglyphic inscriptions. Recent research clearly indicates that highly advanced city cultures allready existed in the Ubaid period of Anatolia and Syria in the early 4th. millenium BC and perhaps even before that. This predates the Mesopotamian Uruk period, so it's a question who inspired who?.

The depiction was well done by excellent craftsmanship.
It was hollow casted.
Nice patina was preserved on the surface.

Similar piece was found in the Yunnan Province Museum.

The shape emulates the Egyptian scarabs from the period, but made in a rare pink hardstone and with a typical later Assyrian stylized design of the seal plate.

A fascinating and exceedingly rare bronze stamp seal of the Hephthalites or the Whine Huns as they're also known. Hunic Empire of the Hindu Kush, 4th.-6th. century AD.

The seal is of an advanced form with a tall handle ending in an oval loop. The plate is oval and engraved with a fine depiction of a parading horse.

This is a terrific bronze bell from the Khmer culture in ancient Viet Nam or Thailand (circa 1200 AD). It weighs 250 grams and measures 6.8cm across the opening. It shows no signs of repair or restoration. It has a fantastic green/blue patina and there are even remnants of cloth or wood fibers mineralized in the surface.

The seal is carved in rock-crystal and is very attractive, Sasanian, ca. 3rd.-6th. century AD.

The base of this hemispheric seal is engraved with a firealter that gives a very high relief impression in wax.

Attractive trapezoid style seal. These seals are usually carved with Marduk at the alter, but this has a rare depiction of a sword, rhomboid symbol (perhaps and eye) and the Sun and Moon for the two major Babylonian deities of Marduk and Sin. A rare depiction. Size: 22 mm. tall and 20 mm wide.
