Chinese Tang dynasty YUE YAO bowl decorated with incised dragon motive inside and lotus petal at outer wall. 17,3 cm diameter. Repaired conditions.
A very beautiful Tang Dynasty jar with a pale greenish and slightly bluish glaze effects. This very ancient Tang artifact (681-906 A.D.). is in excellent condition with no hairlines or noticeable damage. Lid and stand included, both which are antiques in their own right. Authenticity is guaranteed. It measures 31.75 cm high or 12.5" high.
Aweidah Gallery is pleased to offer this EXTREMELY RARE- ancient LARGE biblical black pottery oil lamp with four nozzles. A large filling-hole, whose rim is formed as a ledge with a ridge. The handle is a wide strip with two lengthwise grooves forming three raised mouldings, the nozzles are elongated with an almost straight end and finely scraped sides. Impressed circles and rows of other impressions ornament the nozzles...
This is a diminutive portrayal of a crowned Buddhist figure, most likely a Bodhisattva, dating to circa the 6th century AD, Northern Qi dynasty. Note that the nose and areas of the forehead are darker than the rest of the stone, indicating that they have been rubbed by the hands of worshippers over the centuries, creating a "sweat stain" darkening of the stone...
A large 4 sided jar in sea-green glass, having a wide ridged strap handle and folded lip. The base is decorated with a segmented circle in the center of which is another circle. Smaller circles are at each corner of the base. This is NOT a reproduction, but an original period piece.
The jar is in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or repairs. It is 9 1/2" tall, and 3 1/4" on each side of the square base.

This is an extremely rare pure gold 23K gold cup from Colombia. It is 3 1/2" tall. It has been hammered paper thin and has some crinkling. I purchased it in 1986 from dealer Royce Hubert.

A larger and impressive seal from the Early Halaf period of Western Mesopotamia c. late 7th.-6th. mill. BC.
The seal was reportedly found at the Orontes river.
Finely carved in a black stone with a tall handle, oval base and an interesting relief Grit-pattern in the base.
