Blue and white tea bowl with scalloped rim and pagoda decoration, Qianlong c 1760-80. Interestingly, the Chinese decorator has made an abrupt cut in the mountainous landscape scene (cf. picture 3) so as to give an impression of a printed pattern, the way it is sometimes seen on early English - competitive - transferware where this of course always was a mistake due to this new technology. Unusual. Height 2" / 5 cm. Condition: minimal chip to outer rim.

Tea bowl with enamelled blue and gilt decoration, Jiaqing c 1800. The blue inside border with small stars in gilt makes it probable that the bowl was intended for the American market. Height: 2" / 5 cm, diam: 3 1/2" / 9 cm. Condition: rim frits.

Chinese tea bowl with very thinly engraved sgraffito decoration of a lady in her garden. Illegible seal mark in red. The hairstyle of the lady points to the Republic period, around 1930. Height: 2 1/4" / 6 cm. Condition: minor chip to the inside of the foot rim.

Chinese teapoy, urn-shaped with scrollwork around the base. European style decoration in Famille rose enamels, Qianlong, c 1750. Height: 4 3/4" / 12 cm. Condition: lid: restuck and a chip inside rim, urn: unprofessional restoration to rim.

The old man at the left hand side holds bells in his right hand, in his left he held something that is missing today. The man on the right hand side held something in his right hand, now missing. Judging the faces they could be Daikoku, Ebisu and Benten. Three figures elaborately carved in plain wood, their bases decorated in color...

Large bronze bracelet of flat shape decorated on one side with several geometric designs inside which are remnants of silver inlays, and on the other side with a series of squarish incised geometric designs which must have contained silver inlays, now gone. A pair of Victorian milk glass applied flowers mantle vases. These 1880s vases measure 4-5/8" tall and they feature turquoise blue glass flowers and leaves and light amber coloured stems appled to the ouside of the vases; they are as typically found unsigned and they are in excellent condition with no cracks, repairs or damage other than the loss of one petal on one vase...
