Antique Japanese kuruma tansu, or wheeled chest, made of solid Keyaki (elm) wood. This chest features a large iron Phoenix lock plate with beautiful flowing tail feathers on the topmost drawer, as well as the bottom wheeled area. Themes of chrysanthemums, peonies, lotuses, and kiri leaves are incised into the decorative iron plating, with side locking box for small valuables.

A rare and striking large porcelain bowl made by the William Reid manufactory. The scene, handpainted in an underglaze soft grayish-blue, depicts oriental buildings and foliage. The interior has a border of alternating flower heads and dots, and the bottom has a workman's mark. Both the large size of the bowl, and the scene itself, contribute to the rarity of this piece.

This extremely rare Olmec deformed fetus is described in the book “The Olmec World Ritual and Rulership”. A very similar one is pictured on page 55. Carolyn E. Tate from Texas Tech University, who wrote this chapter, stated only 18 such figurines were known to her. It is 1 1/2" long and made from the highest quality Olmec blue translucent jadeite. This piece has good microscopic evidence of contact with the soil including staining and mineral deposits...

A wonderful modelled Aka Raku tea bowl covered with a red and black glaze - made by legendary 12th generation Kichizaemon Kônyû (1857-1932). His childhood name was Kozaburo, later became Kicho (or, Yoshinaga). He was the eldest son of Keinyu, the eleventh generation master. Exceptional and very important Edo period chawan by legendary master potter Hirasawa Kuro (1772-1840), a famous Samurai and potter who produced tea ceremony ware for the Tokugawa clan in Nagoya. His work is rare and mostly exhibited in Japanese museums.
The bowl comes with the original silk shifuku and its antique fitted lacquered box. It does present a couple of aesthetic repairs and a very fine hairline running from the mouth rim, but that is not unusual for that kind of fragil...
