Antique Japanese pair of shokudai (candle sticks) for butsudan. Made of bronze and decorated with unusual silver crest. Each with small animal head handles on either side. Nice weight and patination.

Early 1800's petit point embroidery of a young girl holding a bird. Protected under glass in an oval frame it is in remarkably good condition with the colors still being vibrant. Measures in frame 10.75" high x 8.5" across.
This is a very nice Edo period cotton indigo dyed cotton kimono for children. This is yokote Kasuri.Patterns such as bangasa (umbrella), turtles,willow.
There are some stains and some repair marks on the shoulder ridge. However, it is an unused / stored item. The color and scent of indigo dye remains firmly.

17th Century Chinese Celadon Color Jade Deep Carved Plaque with Duck on Wood Stand

19th century boxwood netsuke of a blind masseuse working on a client. The masseur has a typical bump on his head, as is usual with portrayal of blind in netsuke. Wonderful carving with great faces, muscles of the client and excellent depiction of textile lines, rich warm patina. Signed NOBUFUSA on the bottom - the artist is listed on p. 834 of NETSUKE & INRO ARTISTS AND HOW TO READ THEIR SIGNATURES by George Lazarnick. Height 1 1/8 inches.
A Large antique Korean faceted, ten sided, storage Jar with a matching lid. Such jars were a part of a Korean kitchen, and were used to store honey and molasses. The jar measures, with lid, about 9 3/4" high x 8 1/2" in diameter, and the mouth opening is 3 5/8" across. The lid appears to be original to the Jar. The Jar is in good condition. There are several chips on the underside of the lid, and around the mouth, and there is a 1/4" kiln crack on the mouth...
Small pipe in cast bronze or brass, decorated with a very elegant incised geometric decoration, inspired by textiles. Japanese work from the 19th century or before. Very nice finish. Bamboo tube. Good condition, no restoration. Natural use wear for a century-old bronze object.

Central rounded disc with 100 different species of birds approx on one side, in the other cherry tree in bloom with a pair of pheasants, sparrows and nightingales, along the band a pair of shi-shi with ring.
Entirely decorated with gold in pastel shades from green to reddish brown, the quality and decorative perfection of the gold applied to all the figures is excellent.

A large greenish-reddish patinated bronze vase worked on relief of a falcon, with the head turned to the right, on a big branch that wraps the vase obliquely starting from the bottom up to the upper neck. Lobed rim and gilded eye of the falcon.
Engraved Masayuki 正之 signature under the base.

A rare very little Budai in porcelain enameled in "famille rose" style.The iron red enamel of beautiful vivid colour. The god is seating. Very little size, probably this divinity was make for travellers. Budai was the god of good fortune,abundance of good health. and perhaps a dealer travelling keep him with him.
