A set of three hanging scroll paintings finely depicted auspicious motifs such as rising sun and old pine tree, jurojin with divine deer and a sacred scroll, as well as a flock of crow rest in the winter old tree that reminds of the zen like scenery. Painted with ink and pigments on silk. Signed Tsunenobu and sealed. It is attributed to Kano Tsunenobu.

Kano Tsunenobu (1636-1713) was the eldest son of Kanō Naonobu (1607-50), younger brother of the renowned artist Kanō Tan'yū (1602-74)...

A beautiful larger hammered silver bowl, Sassanian Empire, 300-600 AD.

Size: ca. 17 cm. wide and 6 cm. tall.

Condition: Choice and intact, toned silver with patches of earthern cuprite encrustations that can be removed.

Kano school painting depicted a white heron rests on the willow tree. Painted with ink and pigments on silk. Sealed. It is inscribed the name Kano Motonobu on the side of the scroll.

The condition is reasonable due to its great age, with some marks, crease, damage are present on the painting and scroll mounting due to its great age...

The vigorous dragons are very well drawn, their contortions are harmonious. They only have 4 claws. The marli is decorated with a Greek frieze enamelled in a pretty bright blue...

A Chinese export porcelain plate, Circa 1735. Perfect condition.

Unusual Ming Dynasty stoneware celadon glazed censer on a reddish clay body, possibly Longquan or an allied kiln, uncommon to see fine translucent craquelure. Good condition- no cracks or damage just some bits of kiln grit adhering to the glaze surface. D: 11.5cm/4.5in and H: 5.5cm/2.1in

Glazed jugs with flared rim lip and low strap handle. The tapering wall slightly offset from the flat base. Both jugs standing on a flat base and covered with a brownish glaze.
Marks of fingers along the belly of one item. The other jug with faint traces of fingertips around the base from dipping it into the glaze.

Glazed jug of globular body and evert neck. Three raised knobs around the shoulder. Arching strap handle with tiny knobs at the topmost point, standing on a bulged base.
The upper side covered with a black glaze that turns into a red-brown in places.

Black lacquer box finely incised with motifs of birds, dormice, vines and flowers, the golden designs stand out pleasantly against the black background with discretion. This Chinese lacquer technique called Ch'iang Chin is very old, it consists of making slight incisions on the dry lacquer then filling them with gold powder mixed with fresh lacquer for good, lasting adhesion. On the box presented here, the very thick and solid lacquer is a sign of excellent quality which has allowed it to calmly...

A very nice untouched Hungarian Wheellock Musketeer's powder flask, circa. 16th century. Stag horn body with wrought brass mounts.

The staghorn is engraved and there's a beautiful central medallion on the front with a geomethric hexagonal star-shaped design, especially known from Byzantine Emprire, c. 10th.-12th. cent. Beautiful patina!
