Top rim decor is blue under glaze with a tiny colored flower in the center of the tea bowl and the outside has famille rose enamels depicting a fawn/deer and delicate pastel flowers with branches. These 10 porcelain plates were produced in Lorraine, France by Niderviller between 1780 and 1800 under the patronage of Count Custine. They measure 9 1/2 inches in diameter. They have 6 lobes around the rim. They are made of hard paste translucent porcelain. They are decorated in the style that Sevres used. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with clusters of realistic flowers in vibrant colors. There are sprigs and buds scattered around each piece. The rims are trimmed with gold...
