Chinese Ming Dynasty Glazed Pottery Chair (16th Century)

A pottery model of a folding wooden chair made during the 16th century (c.1550 - 1600). Made from a hard creamy-white pottery and coated in green and yellow glazes that have, in places, acquired a silvery iridescence, a result of very long exposure to moisture.

A Japanese Arita dish decorated with scrolling flowers, a central roundel of ( possibly ) passion flowers. The base with four spur marks and an apocryphal Chinese Ming Jiajing reign mark.Circa 1700.

This bowl is painted overall with a floral design in orange, green, and yellow enamels with black enamel outlines. The interior rim is decorated with a similar motif, and a single flower is painted on the interior base. The foot is encircled with double lines in underglaze cobalt blue and an underglaze cobalt blue design is painted on the base...

A spectacular Sawankalok brown glaze jarlet dating to the 14th century. It is extremely rare to find these type jarlets in the condition here shown, no chips, hairlines, or other damage. 7.62 cm. or 3 inches high.

Burmese bronze seated crowned Buddha, or sometimes known as 'King Buddha', wearing diadem-crowns and ornaments of kings instead of ordinary monk's robes.

Crowned Buddha represents the Buddha's role as a universal sovereign.

Alaska Eskimo harpoon spear point 2.3" long, circa Thule culture 1200 AD to 1700 AD. It was found on Saint Lawrence Island located in the Bering Strait Northern coastal region of Alaska. It has beautiful dark patination. In great condition and is very solid.

A Good condition Annamese blue and white bowl, decorated with floral scrolls to exterior. The interior center with a Fu character surrounded by unglazed circular. Le Mac period about 15th-16th century. Condition is very good, no any chip, no crack and free from any restoration.

Porcelain plate made in China for the 17th century Japanese market. Blue and white design of a bird in a pine tree draped in moss. Encircled with a thin ring of blue. The edges of the plate and the many small irregularities in the firing are especially prized in this type of ware. "Ko-sometsuke ('old blue and white') porcelain was produced specifically for the Japanese market during the final decades of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644)...

A Thai Sawankhalok Covered Box. Diameter approximately 13.7 cm and height approximately 7.5 cm. The box has several small chips at the rim/the base . Good condition.

Tall Chinese Ming Dynasty Glazed Pottery Figure

This pottery model of an official figure was made during the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644). It is quite highly-fired and made from a pale pinkish-brown pottery and includes an integral hexagonal plinth on which the figure stands. An Annamese blue and white porcelain dish. Flower decoration in cavetto centered by leaves and flowers decorated bands within unglazed rim. Leaf lappet decoration above the ring foot centering unglazed bottom with typical iron wash. 15th to 16th century. Good condition, crawling original to the firing, crazing to glaze, good resonance when tapped, no hairlines and no cracks. Diameter, 9 1/2 to 9 5/8 inches (about 24.3 cm). Height, little more than 2 1/4 inches (about 5.75 cm)...
