Interesting stone stamp seal of pyramidal shape, Western Mesopotamia, probably Late Halaf or early Ubaid period, c. 6th.- 5th. mill. BC.

The shape of the seal has been recorded many times in buriel finds of the 6th. mill. in Western Mesopotamia and the base is carved with a typical halaf grit-pattern. So we will date it a bit earlier than than the collector, Mr. Oberlánder did. Interesting seal.

This type of bronze weapon is generally designated as a short sword. It has a substantial midrib with tapering edges. The edges are concave in the upper part and gracefully draw into spikes or wings that extend around either side of the tang. An exceptional and rare collection of Carnelian beads, stringed as a Necklace, Asia Near East, ca. 2nd. mill. BC BC.

The necklace strung with a large number of beautiful flat and some fewer hemispheric beads, each very precious and with a larger central hanger. Very colourful and wearable.

Tang dynasty jar covered with celadon green glaze, unglaze flat base. MEASUREMENT : 16 cm height, 12 cm wide. PERIOD : Tang Dynasty (618-906 AD) CONDITION: Perfect, no chips, cracks or hairlines and free from restorations.

A rare bone seal with a finely carved base, Western Mesopotamia, dating to the late 3rd.- early 2nd. mill. BC.

The seal in the oval gable form, looking much like a scaraboid, and engraved with a a pair of goats heads and it's probably made by the Hattites / early Hittite people.

This large and heavy copper alloy axe is from the ancient culture(s) of Northern Iran. The convex cutting edges are perpendicular to each other. It has a vertical shaft hole with a collar/ridge around the bottom. There are some obvious chips to the vertical cutting blade but it is otherwise very solid, stable and complete. Axes such as this one were in use from the late third millennium BCE throughout the second millennium BCE. The larger size indicates a date later in that timeframe. This part...

are Tang bronze warrior that was cast on one side and has some remains of being gilded. It probably was part of a larger array of a larger group of statues. Size: H. 10.5cm. W. 4cm.

This is an interesting copper alloy dagger. It has a triangular blade with a prominent midrib and a short, flat tang. The patina is an unusual light gray color and there are some brown encrustation on the surface of both sides. It measures roughly 24 cm in length and weighs 111 grams. This type of dagger is typically very early (before 1500 BC).

A late Halaf or Early Ubaid Period stamp seal, Late Neolithic / Chalcolithic period, Mesopotamia c. 5th. millenium BC.

Interesting type with handle and engraved with a criss-cross pattern and four perforated globes or pellets in each corner of the base.

Size: 33 mm. long and 24 mm. wide.

Condition: Nice Very fine and intact.

This is a fantastic little copper point from the Afghan/Turkestan area. It dates to circa 300 BC. It measures 142 mm in length and weighs 37 grams. It has a circular perforation in the tang. The piece has a light, attractive patina and is very solid and stable with no signs of damage or repair.
