This is beni-itajime katazome silk jyuban kimono textile of the Meiji era(1868-1912). The motif is dyed in a dyer's saffron with a cherry tree. Other parts are rinzu silk. It has pole a few stains. However, I do not stand out. It does not have damage and is very beautiful. size:146cm x 123cm (57.5" x 48.4")

This is a Japanese antique excellent silk kinran Weave and hand-embroidery kesa textile of the edo era(1800-1867) . The lining is silk safflower dyed. There are some stains, and a part of the embroidery thread is peeled off. There is a small hole. But they don't stand out. Recommended for your antique textile collection. A pair woman's Paduka in fish form, made of hardwood and inlaid with brass wire. Base inscribed "Hindu bath sandals" and "Anna Broadwood". A similar pair in the Bata Shoe Museum Collection in Toronto. Dimension: c. 22 cm long, 8.8 cm wide, total height: 8.4 cm. Condition: few traces of usage, a short section with missing wire (see picture no. 2).

This hemp Kyogen costumes hakama was used by Kyogen actors in the Edo period(1800-1867). The light green color is dyed by mixing natural bark and indigo dye.It's a very natural and beautiful color. This hemp is hand spun. Round flowers and maple patterns are impressive. This one has some wear and tear due to age. There are several small holes here. Recommended for antique textile collections.
