Antique Tibetan broach with figures of the Lord Vishnu astride the anthropomorphic form of Garuda, his vehicle mount (vahana). Made of metal filagree and inlaid with coral, shell, turquoise, and red and blue carved glass.

Chogappo made of fragments of choma (ramie), one of bast fibers, which is recycled from white and dyed ramie textiles. Pojagi is the general name for the wrapping cloth and "chogappo" is one kind of pojagi which is patchworked with asa (choma or hemp) fragments. A rather unusual aspect of the Buddha image.
Chinese agate girdle clasp, also called "sui" in Chinese. I am uncertain about the date of it, but do believe that it should be from Qing Dynasty or earlier. It is in good condition with russet streaks. 2-3/8" X 1-1/8" X 1/2".
Ancient Buddhist book of sutras comprising of two thick lacquered and gilt cardboard covers decorated with 16 Buddhas sitting on a throne with their hands in bhumisparsa mudra posture. Chinese finial hat, known in Chinese as guanmaodi, done in repousse silver topped with a lion. A lage round agate bead, known as dingzhu is placed in the center, the middle has a cylindrical bead with repousse figures, and the base has a very pale jade ring. Age: 19th-20th Century. Size: 4" high.
