A large and robustly shaped late Qing covered ginger jar, in the Kangxi style with famille verte flower-baskets against a powder blue ground.

Beautifully made Amphora pitcher with unusual organic overtones. This great piece is handpainted with gold thistle and glue and gray and lighe purple overtones. It is in perfect condition and measures ll" tall x 7" wide

Exceptional 19th Century Kyodai (Japanese Mirror Chest) beautifully constructed of very fine elm root. Japanese artisans ceased use of this expensive wood many years ago. Japanese antique mirror boxes like these are honestly undervalued and underpriced. They are the last bargains in the Japanese antique world, relative to their true worth and rare beauty. Second of three molded, foliate Kangxi blue and white plates in superb condition. Decorated with eight figures in period costumes in cobalt blue. No chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs or glaze crackle. About 9-1/4" or 23.5cm diameter. The "sleeve dance" depicted can be traced back at least as early as the Zhou dynasty. Please note the finely decorated reverse side with ring of Lingzhi cartouches. Under glaze cobalt blue is identical on all three plates...

Longquan stoneware vase of an archaic bronze gu or zun form, with a wide mouth and everted rim. The vase has ge type of golden celadon glaze. There are four vertical raised ridges on the central and lower sections. This celadon vase is modelled after an ancient ritual drinking vessel called a gu. Rare and beautiful Japanese antique isho tansu from the area of Sado Island, made all of kiri (paulownia) wood with original deep reddish brown lacquer finish and nice patina. A Yung Ming longquan celadon large carved dish, round barbed rim with deep center and glazed base with ring for firing, dish decorated with carved flower motif at inner wall, center with cross motif, dish covered with deep green glaze.
Dish is in good condition with one faint hairline at the rim, no chip no crack no restoration, slightly wrap, good ping sound with finger tip.
