A large antique 17th-18th century Hispano-Moresque tin-glazed earthenware dish - charger with a cobalt blue and copper lustre decoration from Spain, Valencia, or Manises.

The charger plate of shallow form with a wide rim and a raised central boss adorned with a sunburst motif, enclosed by a large band painted with cobalt blue arrows on a beige ground with copper-lustre abstract vegetal motifs...

Pair of Japanese sliding door handles. They are made of a copper alloy finely chiseled with scrolls and stylized flowers on a nanako background, alternately there are shakudo plates (an alloy of copper and gold, shibuichi or silvered sentoku. They are excessively heavy and of the best quality. The size is much larger than for a normal door handle (double in size) which implies very high and wide doors. It is not a usual rich house that can accommodate doors of this size...

Chinese Pottery Covered Jar in Globular Form with Incised Rings Design, with some remaing red color and soil encrustration on the surface. The three legs of the jar have bear design, trace of original remains in good condition.

Japanese Standing Female Isho Ningyo of a Bijin, Meiji Period. 15.75 inches (40 cm).

Chinese jade carving known as a cong, an implement dating back to Neolithic China, once used for unknown but culturally important reasons. The cong is often seen with squared outer edges carved of a taotie or beast's mask, which the inside is smoothed round with a central groove. The stone's coloring is light green with mottled brown.

Korean Buncheong ware bowl with motif of six flowers forming a large flower at the center. It is bordered with flower petal pattern,then with an outer floral patterned band. The exterior is decorated with a a band of spots. The design is stamped into the clay, a white slip fills in the gaps, and a clear glaze coats the piece creating the contrast of white and gray under a smooth surface. Age: Joseon Period. French gilt-bronze triptych picture frame. Beaded and guilloché borders. Central panel has scalloped top. Curvilinear side wings. Floral silk ground. Seven windows total: 2 circular windows (diameter 3 1/2 in.), 2 circular windows (diameter 2 1/2 in.), 2 oval windows (H 3 x W 2 1/2 in), and 1 oval window (H 5 x 4 in.). Buddhist shrine, or zushi. Inside stands Jizo bosatsu, holding a wish-granting jewel (hoju no tama) in his left hand and his staff in the right. Very elaborate wooden carving with thick layers of lacquer on top of which gilding. Unusual face with down cast eyes. Metal staff with moving rings.

An interesting set of two Chinese Canton paintings depicting two festival scenes that were possibly seen on the streets in China during the Qing dynasty. The top view depicts a figure riding a horse and people are flocking to receive blessings. The bottom scene is showing a theatrical troupe passing by.
