Authentic Han stove with green glaze and original wok. Han stoves usually have items of food and cooking items on top of the stove. Size: 22cm X 16cm X 16cm Condition; Some age cracks and some loss of the glaze from long burial.

Vanity set, a pair of perfume or cologne bottles and a lidded jar. Opaline glass with bands of enameled flower wreaths against a fawn mother of pearl like background. French, around 1900. Height of bottles "5 ¾ / 14.5 cm. Condition: stoppers missing and a small nick to the rim of the jar (cf. pics).

Large 19th Century Scandinavian pudding or butter box hand caved with intricate foliage in deep relief. The lid is held in position by two upstanding wings and a carved wooden pin inserts on one side to further secure the lid. In excellent condition it measures 12 inches high an 9.75" diameter.

A beautiful pair of Georgian multiple spiral air twist drinking glasses. The drawn trumpet bowls are finely engraved with a grape vine, leaves, and bunches of grapes. Conical feet with rough, snapped pontils.

Condition is excellent, with no chips, scratches, or restoration. The glasses stand perfectly straight, although it does not seem so in the photograph of the two of them together. Good color, striations, and tooling marks...

Japanese carved wood Natsume tea caddy, with high relief lacquer imagery of ripened peaches growing on a branch, and a flying hornet on the top of the lid in lacquer. The side of the box is signed with red lacquer cartouche.

A Chinese blue and white porcelain jar decorated with dramatic and humoristic animals and other motifs, and two unreadable characters on the bottom. The jar was made in early 17th century, probably for exporting. Condition: Perfect condition with three very short kiln cracks as shown on photos. Diameter: 4-7/8", height:3-3/4".

Offered is this beautiful, peachblow glass vase, made around the turn of the 20th century, probably by Thomas Webb & Sons of Stourbridge, England. The vase is 8 1/2 inches (21, 5 cm) tall and 4 1/2 inches (11,5 cm) wide. The melon-twist vase has beautiful coloration and is in excellent condition. The enameling is highly suggestive of having been done by the studio of Jules Barbe. Unsigned.

Interior of the bowl and bottom of the saucers enamelled in pink. Condition: fine, unless minor hairlines and few tiny chips, one saucer's bottom with enamel loss. Antique Japanese okimono depicting a pair of cranes on a rock. Waves wash around the rock near an ancient turtle. Made of bronze and silver with polychrome details. This sculpture is an elegant representation of the traditional longevity phrase: “cranes live for one thousand years, and turtles for ten thousand.” On the back of the rock is a large, 4-character cartouche the first part of which reads: 般若 Hannya. The next 2 characters are more difficult to read...
