Relief fragment finely carved with a strong Greek aesthetic influence, representing a yakshi in a niche, wearing a diadem, a necklace and a robe, holding a branch with her right hand. Grey schist. Pakistan, Gandharan Greaco-Buddhist art, 1st to 3rd century. Height: 14 cm. The relief is nicely mounted on a custom stand made of green marble. Good condition. Provenance: old British collection.
A nice study object, where one can look how the base and the glaze of a genuine Yuan Qingbai piece should look like. Porcelain body covered with a crackled Qingbai ( Yingqing ) glaze. Base unglazed. H : 4,4 cm. D : 8,3 cm. Jingdezhen or Fujian. Yuan Dynasty, fourteenth century.
Condition : broken and re-glued, chip to the base.

This is a Well-hollowed, Flattened, Circular form translucent Apple Green Jadeite Snuff Bottle with a flared neck, flat lip, wide mouth, recessed, slightly convex foot, and flattened foot rim; the sides carved with two crouching mice that are shown with their tails swung along the front and reverse sides of the bottle. It comes with a like material stopper. Most likely made during the Qianlong Period of Japan...

A Fukagawa porcelain 9 1/2 inch dinner plate. Iris decoration from Chuji Fukagawa's own 19th century design book. Blue underglaze and red, yellow and gold overglaze enamel decoration including random butterflys. Mt. Fuji mark inside the foot ring. Late Meiji or early Taisho. Good condition. Small and elegant vase from around 1900, silver thread cloisonne enamel depicting flowers and birds in the style of Hayashi Kodenji. Auspicious Kanji mark to base: great happiness (?). Height "6/ 15.3 cm. Condition: enamel loss on the shoulder covered with black paint (cf. pics) and an associated scratch mark.
