Japanese pair of round fish plates. The raised details of the fish is painted in blue glaze. Along the edges, an impressed pattern makes up the fish's dorsal and pectoral fins. On the bottom, the maker's mark is a tiny blue floret.

A Victorian bisque double shell young boy figural mantle vase from the late 1800s. This 5-1/4" tall figurine is fully hand painted and of top quality - quite like the fineness of Schafer & Vater. It consists of a young boy with a hat seated between two shells. The vase is in a nice greenish/blue colour and it has lots of gold jewelling. It is unsigned except for a painted 74 and a faint impressed underglaze 524 (we think)...

Mid to late ( sixteenth century ) Ming period. Jingdezhen ware in an extremely rare shape.
There are some few Thai browh glazed stoneware pieces in a quite similar shape, but a Chinese Jingdezhen blue and white piece in this shape seems to be never recorded so far.

Condition : Perfect. Some glaze degradation at the under part of the piece, but no chip and no crack.
Lovely Renaissance Revival hall stand, circa 1880. It is walnut and all the decoration is burl. It will hold up to ten hats or coats, and has the original iron pans on the bottom. It measures 91" tall x 43" wide x 16" deep and is in beautiful condition.

Up for sale is an antique Chinese Manchu woman's informal domestic robe; late 19th or early 20th century; trims embroidered with with wisterias and butterflies, purple silk damask ground with medallions, vibrant colors ! Front enclosure to the right with 4 large gilt toggle-and-loop buttons. The robe is in excellent condition, vibrant colors! Measurements : 54" from collar to bottom, 22" between arm pits, 78" across shoulders when stretched open, 50" when folded, bottom width 35".
Bold pave set chrysoberyl ring in 18K gold. The stones came from Portuguese mines in Brazil. Fabulous jewelry was made from the various gemstones exported from these mines until the French invasion of Portugal in 1809. The ring is size 7 1/4 and can be sized up or down.
Offered is an early portable Steelyard scale that is designed to weigh goods up to 30 pounds. This primitive iron scale sports hand-forging construction and measures just over 13 inches in length. The manufacturer's identifying name is almost fully readable and is stamped "?? WHITHFIELD & SONS".
The arm on one side is stamped in increments 1 through 9 (pounds) and 7-30 on the opposite side...
