This pre-Columbian Chancay bone flute is from the central coast area of Peru, 800AD-1200AD. It is 6" long and has four holes on the top and one on the bottom. The knuckle is carved with a very nice frog and two serpents/snakes along the sides. It is in beautiful, solid condition with superb patina. A real no-brainer. I purchased it on October 12, 1989 from HD Enterprises.

Victorian Modern sterling silver and glass decanter. Made by Edgar Finley & Hugh Taylor in Birmingham in 1884. Clear glass cylinder on round and spread base. Flat girdle with applied chevron and stud. Rim collar same with triangular spout. Cover hinged with canted sides and ball finial. Mortis and tenon-style bracket handle. Very good design. Fully marked. Fine condition.

We love these royal blue mirror glass earrings which shine a brighter Bristol blue with the slightest head movement. the beveled hand carved edge is a lovely detail which was clearly time consuming for the maker. The plate glass factory at Vauxhall was known for its production of mirror glass, but in addition, the company employed skillful artisans to produce jewelry out of the remaining shards. Thus was created Vauxhall glass jewelry, much loved then and by collectors today...

A square opium tray with vertical rim and recessed corners, made of baitong ("white copper", an alloy from different metals). The interior nicely incised with three ladies standing before a house with a moon window. Condition: some traces of usage, the corners with solder residue,some spots. The base: not completely even and with some spots. Dimension: c. 25.3 cm x 25.3 cm, c. 1.5 cm high, weight: 950g.

3 pieces trio set of Chinese Export Famille Rose Porcelain set, consist of the Tea Bowl, Saucer and a demitasse cup with handle, Ca. 1800, 5" diameter(saucer), 3" diameter and 1 3/4" high(tea bowl), 2 1/4" high and 3 1/8" wide include handle(demitasse cup), decorated overglaze gold and orange color of Initials "JMB" within pink floral drapes along the rim as well as inner circle, demitasse cup has restored chip on the rim, tea bowl and saucer are in good condition.

Chinese Export Porcelain Famille Rose Tea Bowl and Saucer, ca. 1800, 3 1/2" diameter and 1 7/8" high(tea bowl), 5 1/2"diameter and 1 1/8" high(saucer), overglaze enamel design of small flowers and bugs within fluted rim. Saucer has two(2) small frits 1/8" wide and 3/8" long and glaze hair line extended from the frit on the rim 1/2" long.

Jewelers produced tie pins in the 19th century to meet the increasing demand for novelty jewelry. The spiral ridge near the top of the pin helps to hold the item of clothing, whether it be a tie or a scarf, securely in place. The increasingly liberated and activism of women toward the later half of the 19th century gave rise to a new class of sporting jewelry. Many an equestrienne was wearing horseshoe pins to the lapel of her riding clothes by the 1880's...

Paper money did not exist in Joseon Dynasty Korea, and the coins were of very small denominations. C. 1880 Hand carved Wood Box Engraved mother of pearl box measures just over 2 inches square. The top slides cleanly off the base to uncover beautiul mother of pearl "puzzle pieces", probably intended as a game whereby one must get the pieces back in the same order. A lovely Victorian box for the discerning box collector.

This incredible Rabbit Island Dart arrowhead was found on Sauvie's Island, Oregon by Carroll Howe's sister while hunting with Carroll. I purchased the point from him on 12-13-90. Carroll wrote 4 books on Northwest material. It is made from gorgeous highly translucent orange agate. It has beautiful serrated edges and is flawless. The chipping is the finest. It has no stacks, curves or bends. It is 2 1/4". I believe it to be the finest Rabbit Island ever found and is certainly one of the largest...

Antique Choba Tansu (merchant's chest) from the Tohoku area of Northern Japan. Made with Kiri (Paulownia) wood front and Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood frame and interior. There are six exterior drawers, a compartment with sliding panels, and a safe box all with dramatic round lock plates. Iron hardware also includes Warabite shaped drawer pulls, quarter round corner bracing and half round lock plate and hinge on the safe box...

A beautiful 18th century glass sweetmeat with a dentated (cogwheel) rim (21 teeth) on a double ogee bowl above a multiple spiral opaque twist stem with a shoulder inverted baluster knop. The foot is radially rib molded with a rough, snapped pontil.

Condition is excellent with good tooling marks and color. The height is 3 3/8 " with a bowl diameter of 4 inches and a foot diameter of 2 1/2".

Antique Japanese Kimono Bo Tansu from the Iwayado area of Northern Japan. Constructed of quarter sawn Toneriko (Tamo Ash) wood with striking grain and a translucent lacquer finish. The frame is made of Sugi (Cryptomeria) wood with an opaque wiped lacquer finish. Hardware is hand made all of iron and includes Warabite shaped drawer pulls with unusual raised Pine and Peach back plates...

A 13 3/8 inch (34 cm) diameter Dutch delft blue and white charger depicting a vase with a pedestal base in the center and an elaborate chinoiserie border on the outer lip. 18th century more likely earlier than later.

Condition; major chunk out of left edge replaced but discernable by discoloration of the paint over. Losses along the edge all around the dish.

A 13 5/8 inch (34.5 cm) diameter blue and white delft charger with Chinese style decoration in the center depicting a rock with flowers on a ground with other plants. Crossing lines with dots between, surround the well and also on the outer edge of the lip. Dutch 18th century.

Condition: a fair bit of wear to the glaze, a chip on the rim with glaze losses and other smaller losses around the rim.

A 12 ¼ inch (31 cm) diameter blue and white delft charger made at Lambeth, London toward the end of the 18th century. The “Chinese garden” is well executed as is the border on the lip. A plate with the same decoration is at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.

Condition: chips around the edge and a few places on the lip where the glaze has flaked off.

A nice shape of blue and white garlic head vase, well balance potted and decorated with Mandarin ducks swimming and flight among lotus pond. Late Ming dynasty 17th century found in West Sulawesi Majene city. Condition is perfect, with no any chips, no any cracks and free from any restoration. Height: 25,6 cm.
