Antique 18th -19th century Sino Tibetan Small Bronze Figure of Guanyin Quan Yin Antique, 18th -19th century, Sino Tibetan bronze figure of Guanyin Quan Yin, finely cast and skillfully hand chased, depicting a bodhisattva seated in dhyanasana, on a lotus base, and the hands, that are in dhyanamudra. She is dressed in layered robes wearing a jeweled necklace and elaborate crown.

Beautiful pale pink soapstone carving of a lily with plum blossoms, and a bird. In very good condition, it measures 9 inches high. Chinese.

A large example underglazed cobalt-blue large dish, decorated with lotus flower in the center and continuously floral scrolls to cavetto. Condition is broken and re-glued without any missing pieces. Vietnam's 15th/16th century. Diameter: 36.6 cm.

Chinese 12th-15th century vase with creamy white glaze. 11 cm high. vase has small chipped at the rim and a glaze fault at the body.(please see on the picture) free from any repair.

A large Chinese bonbon dish made by Wang Hing. Made of mother of pearl shell with silver bamboo legs in tripod form, it is surprising sturdy. Marked Wang Hing on one of the bottom legs, it is in excellent condition and measures 5 inches high. Across, the shell measures 8.75' at its longest point and 7" at its shortest distance.

Late 18th to early 19th century Japanese lacquer 5-compartment inro with a stunning design of a dragon!

It has a fantastic lacquer work called Maki-E. The inside is covered with precious Nashiji Gold Dust. This techique was only used for luxury items for the most famous Samurai fighter.

The material of the Netsuke and the string fastener (ojime) is Kotsu, a delicate work.

Very good condition with only little damages due to the high age...

This old Japanese hand made sack (basket,bag) was made by a rural farmer or fisherman out of cotton cording. Handle holes were worked into the upper band which would have allowed for the changing of worn out handles. There is obvious wear and fading from use and age. The bag measures almost 11 x 15 inches It is Wonderful old ethnographic example of rural Japanese textile folk art

Small head of a female Hindu deity, her face reflecting a profound serenity, with a slight smile. Pink sandstone. India, early 16th century. Height: 4" (10,1 cm). Mounted on a custom stand. Erosion, chip on nose, otherwise good condition. Provenance: Zemanek-Munster auction 2013.

Antique Japanese low-fire ceramic mask of Ebisu, one of the Seven Lucky Gods in Japanese folklore. Ebisu, the god of fishing and good fortune, is often depicted with the god Daikoku. This mask wears his usual joyful expression and is perfect for wall mounting. Meiji Period 1868-1912. Size: 14" height, 13.5" width

Antique Chinese tripod censer that comes with a tall, circular stand. The lid of the censer has a playful fu dog as a finial. The front and back of the censer features a cylindrical panel with flora and fauna upon a textured background, and the handles on each side appear as large fu dog faces. Late 19th century circa 1890. This doll is a tough little cookie. She is heavy and round and firmly stuffed with rags and something else that add up to being heavy for her size. She has spindly arms, very sturdy legs with fabric boots sewn on. She is all stockinette. Her slip and panties are sewn on. Her dress is a red calico print and is mended on the front with a red panel and one arm of the dress is badly torn. Her face has with button eyes and a pinched raised nose, and a very tiny red embroidered mouth...

Antique Chinese desk made from beautiful lacquered rosewood. Two drawers are in front with melon shaped handles, with carved spiraling designs in the bottom corners. The feet are also carve with spirals. Late 19th century. Size: 30" height, 32" length, 20" depth

A pair of large antique ancestor portraits, painted in mineral colors and ink with gold ink details on paper. A noble pair, a wealthy husband and wife, ornately dressed and sitting on carved chairs. As is traditional in this type of portrait the faces are rendered with much attention to each persons natural features and executed with many tiny brush strokes...

Stunning solid keyaki antique Japanese small ko tansu with two sliding doors main upper doors. Three drawers with hand forged iron locks. The original finish comes off as a rick medium - dark honey lacquer finish. Dramatic quartered sawn grain pattern seen thronghout the piece. Originates from the Tohoku region of Japan.

Antique Japanese low tansu made with hinoki (cypress) wood with deep brown original finish. The front has two slatted sliding doors with crossing iron lock plating in the center. Behind each door is an identical set of interior drawers with locks for each one. Simple and very functional. Dates from the Edo Age 18th century. Size: 21" height, 42" length, 23.5" depth

A Benin mask of a human face, dating back to the 19th. century. Strongly cast, and modelled in high relief, the face encircled by a beard composed of numerous fine details, the face with full protruding lips, a wide nose and prominent expressive eyes.

Impressing headdress with 7 horns. Fine varied aged patina.

Two different pipes, the bowls made of Tophane clay embellished with gilding or gilded metal rim. The stems ar made of wood ending in a horn mouthpiece. One with mark. Condition: one bowl was broken in two and the other one with two chips. Dimension: total length: 35 cm and 16 cm.
