Vintage Chinese jade carving of a resting one-horned chimera with bifurcated tail. Beautiful true nephrite jade of white to light celadon color, excellent carving, great face, highly polished finish to the surface, very pleasant to hold. Length 1.95 inches, weight 51.3 grams

A pretty leaf shaped serving dish by Royal Copenhagen. Panted decoration of flowers, the twig handle with a rose and a forget-me-not flower in relief – the same as the handles used in the famous Flora Danica service. Impressed mark 2 and S, and the three waves of the manufacture in the version used around 1890. Length "7 1/5 / 18.5 cm. Condition: damage to the petals of the little forget-me-not flower.

Sparrow beak milk jug, Chinese export porcelain from late Kangxi or Yongzheng, early 18th century. Imari decoration: underglaze blue and overglaze red plus some gilt. The blue is clobbered - the way it is sometimes seen on the blue and white ginger jars with the classic cracked ice decoration - and the way the circular chrysanthemum flowers have been cut in halves shows Japanese influence. Height "4 ¾ / 12.2 cm. Condition: a hairline to the base of the handle.

Statue of Kuan Yin, wearing diadem and formal dress, holding a lotus bud in her right hand, sitting in "regal repose" on a elevated double lotus throne. Bronze, with fine reddish-green patina. China, Yuan/early Ming Dynasty, maybe earlier. Height: 12.9 cm. Very good condition. A rather rare piece in this form.

Quirky image of Ganesh accompanied by four rats as devotees and musicians. This is from the last half of the 20th century- possibly a tribal image. Patinated bronze sculpture depicting a roaring lion of excellent quality evident in the details of the muzzle, in the energetic expression, in the muscles and in the thick mane. The eyes have a golden outline that stands out against the dark background of the bronze and gives the animal an even more truthful expression. Unusual 19th century Chinese bracelet consisting of fifteen fruit pits, two agate beads and a jadeite one with a “vase”. Each pit is skillfully carved all around with scenes of Chinese scholars involved in various activities: reading scrolls, studying fungus of immortality, or engaged in discussions. Late Meiji (1890s to 1912) small Japanese bronze vase with gold, silver and copper inlays depiction a long-tailed rooster on a flowering cherry branch. Excellent crisp work, perfectly captured posture of the creature, beautifully carved and inlaid, a few darker spots, overall in great condition. Signed KOSHU (alternative reading is Mitsufune) on the back. Height 4 5/8 inches.
