A Chinese blue and white porcelain dish decorated with flowers. Hongzhi to Zhengde period (mid 15th to early 16th century). Condition: chips and glaze-chips at two locations of the rim as shown on photos; two 1 mm and one 2 mm glaze flakes on other location of the rim. No other flaws other than these. Carved from animal horn this eyeglass case dates to the Qing Dynasty. What appears to be the original cord allows the case to be hung on a belt...The original toggle was replaced sometime (probably in the 50's) with current blue toggle...

A Chinese blue and white dish decorated with "fire Dragon" and other motifs. This dish was from Dehua Kiln. Kangxi period. Excellent condition - no flaw through out except normal wear and small fire cracks. Diameter: 8-1/4".

Japanese Imari Porcelain Hibachi, 9" high, 10 1/4" diameter-outside maximum measurement, later part of 1800's, with repeated vertical indented grooves on entire body with four(4) separate cartouche filled with floral decoration, underglaze blue and overglaze dark orange or reddish color decoration, highlighted in gold. The condition is good, no damage or restoration.

This is a cotton textile of the Edo era. This was introduced by Muneyosi Yanagi in the world in the 1900s. And it became very famous after it. One(1) French Ormolu gilded bronze Candelabra with four(4) lights, 21 1/2" high, 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" wide-maximum measurement, each have matching separate removable original bobesche, supporting by main reed column on three(3) animal paws on the base. Some gilding is worn in the middle of column area. No damage or restoration.

A large silver tray of oval form with applied scrolling handles. The sloping sides of the salver with repousse decoration in the Turkish baroque style. Tughra and two other marks to either end of the tray, each handle with two hallmarks. Condition: traces of usage, the sides with two short cracks, one old repair with crack near the attachment of one handle (pic. 9). Dimension total: 41.5 cm long x 26.7 cm wide, weight: 760 g.

This is a beautiful and rare copper alloy dagger from the Dong Son culture of southeast Asia circa 250 BCE. It has an attractive patina that belies its high tin content alloy. The edges of the blade are chipped as is common for the brittle nature of high tin content bronze objects. The remaining metal appears to be solid and stable with no signs of repair or restoration. The hollow portion of the perforated handle is filled with either soil or wood remains (or both)...

This is a nice copper or copper alloy axe from Northern Iran. It dates to roughly the end of the third millennium BCE. Similar examples can be seen in P.R.S. Moorey Catalog of Ancient Persian Bronzes in the Ashmolean Museum pp 41-43. Axes of this type are commonly attributed either to the broad classification of Luristan or to the Elamite culture. This particular piece weighs 222 grams and measures 8 cm in length. It is 6.5 cm tall and roughly 2.5 cm wide at the top of the socket...
