A Very Fine Pair of Korean Leather/Silk/Girl’s Shoes-19th C: For girls.
Korea, Joseon dynasty, 19th century.
A pair of shoes with a leather and red and light yellow colored silk for a royal family’s child,
the soles actually are pig skin, sewing done unbelievably very well at the time.
For a child (girl) shoes they’re very rare with a good condition like these shoes in these days.
It’s in very fine condition, measures 5 3/8” long.
Japanese isho tansu, or clothing chest of drawers, constructed with Persimmon wood front drawers and a Sugi (cedar) frame and interior. The tansu holds four long drawers with metal pulls and round keyholes with floral plating. The sides of the piece are built with handles to carry and transport the tansu. Original condition with kanji inscription on backside of chest.

Japanese solid Keyaki choba tansu (merchant's chest of drawers). The unit sits on a platform base. Original finish solid Keyaki (elm) hardwood construction, detailed with hand forged iron pulls and other hardware.

Japanese women's small tansu with hardwood drawers, and charming burl front panels. The gilt copper hardware conveys floral motifs of Kiri leaves, flower petals, and fruit. The chest is configured with eight drawers of varied size and a pair of small sliding door panels opening to a roomy compartment. Each drawer has a plush black material lining.
Taisho Period - circa 1920's

Chinese Blue and White Rectangular Pillow, decorated on four sides with flowering peony, either end with prunus and bamboo on a cracked ice ground. 19thC. Length 15.0 cm.

There is a square brass seal reading ¡°imitate Ming¡± on the bottom. In this case, ¡°Ming¡± is a general name for Chinese or Mandarin. It is 10 inches in diameter and 4 ¾ inches tall. Good condition.

This late 19th century Japanese gold lacquered tortoise shell box is 5 inches long, 2 ½ inches wide and 1 inch thick. On one side, it depicts an eagle resting on a plum tree and
