A small Late Qing or Republic Yenyen Blue & White landscape Vase with the double ring.

This porcelain covered vase was produced in Germany at Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The shape is Asian in style. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with delicate vines of tiny flowers entwined around strands of ribbon. The colors are vivid and there are accents of gold in the design. Korean Buncheong ware bowl with motif of six flowers forming a large flower at the center. It is bordered with flower petal pattern,then with an outer floral patterned band. The exterior is decorated with a a band of spots. The design is stamped into the clay, a white slip fills in the gaps, and a clear glaze coats the piece creating the contrast of white and gray under a smooth surface. Age: Joseon Period. Large furoshiki made of hand-spun cotton with tsutsugaki design which are auspicious motifs, such as fukura suzume (sparrow), bamboo, pine tree. plum flower and scrolls. Vegetable indigo and natural brown dye. In good condition except for some brown color faded parts and a rip (2cm). The second half of the 19th century. 130cm x 140cm

Figural hand painted faience hatpin holder of a Danish boy by Aluminia Royal Copenhagen. Measures 7.25 inches high, 3" at widest, 2.5" diameter at base. Excellent antique condition with one chip at bake side of base. Dates 1910 and a very rare find!

Very old and important grotesque mask, with an accentuated grinning expression. Wood, traces of black pigments. Himalayan Region, Arunachal Pradesh, Monpa Sherdukpen Peoples, 18th century, probably earlier. Height: 11 1/8" (28 cm). The mask is mounted on a custom wood stand. Large stamp seal in a fine greyish green stone, probably Chlorite, Anatolia / Northern Syria Ubaid period, c. 4th. millenium BC.

The base of the seal is engraved with a fine symethric arrangement, probably showing antlers or something floral. A nice Gable seal type with perfect symethri and sharp lines.

Hard porcelain vase created by tominaga genroku (1860-1920). Decorated with peonies painted underglaze in a classic cobalt blue, yellow, green and pink enameled details. Elegant shape, well-designed flowers, harmonious colors. Classic model typical of this period. The Ureshino kilns located in kyushu produced this type of porcelain from the end of the 19th century.Peonies are a symbol of immortality. A crack in the neck. Ancient Italic Bronze Quatrefoil Fibula

The fibula consists of two bronze wires whose ends are twisted against each other to form tightly rolled spirals. Both double spiral wires are forged into short flat sheets in the middle and riveted together with an additional
long strip of sheet metal. Another circular decorative plate is riveted to the front. This plate has a punched dot
pattern around the edge and intersecting chains of dots in the two bars...

A Hirado blue and white porcelain bowl. Dragon decoration on the interior center. Flowerhead in mokkogata reserves decoration along the interior below the rim with pale iron oxide wash. Intricate dragon and phoenix decoration around the exterior. The unglazed bottom and foot with the smooth biscuit characteristic of the kiln. Taisho period. Good condition. Diameter, 5 1/2 inches. Height, 2 1:8 inches.

A Japanese blue & white porcelain dish, moulded in ‘kraak’ style with the cavetto featuring butterflies and peaches in relief. The rinka or petalled edge with flowers. The centre of of the dish has a depiction of a gated pavilion set in a fabulous garden. Arita 1750 ~ 1770. A bowl with a very similar border design and alternate moulded butterflies and peaches is shown in the Catalogue of the Shibata Collection, item 3321.

A pair of elaborate porcelain vases with large leaves in turquoise and gilt opening from a narrow base which rests on four wide feet. The base and feet encrusted with vegetation and occasional flowers which also support a large rising stem on either side with roses on one side and blue, orange garden flowers and possibly small lilies on the other side. Hard to imagine putting flowers that wouldn’t clash into these vases...

A nice and finely potted famille rose covered teacup dated to the Tongzhi period. It has a scene of a garden with flowers, grass and butterlies flying. A red Tonzhi reign mark to the top of the cover and base of the teacup.

Generally in very good condition. Minor pinholes. No hairline, glaze fritting,crack, repair or restoration.

The dimension of the teacup is: the height with cover on is 8.1cm and the diameter is 10cm.

A Yuan Longquan Celadon Jar with Dragon Decoration. Diameter approximately 8.5 cm and height approximately 7.2 cm. There is an original chip at the rim. Good condition.

Mask of the "Nuo" esoteric theater representing the character of Heshang, the Buddhist monk, with very expressive features. The mask was carved on wood, then paper was affixed all over its surface, on which polychrome pigments were painted. China, early 19th century, probably earlier. Height: 9 13/16" (25 cm). The mask is nicely mounted on a custom metal stand. Paper partly flaked, and consequently the colors, otherwise very good condition.

DESCRIPTION: A lovely white jade toggle (or pendant) with scattered light brown to grayish inclusions, strung with an orange amber bead on a cord. This toggle dates from the Qing Dynasty and is in very good condition; the jade surface is quite smooth to the touch and there are no chips to the jade or amber bead. DIMENSIONS: Jade toggle: 1 1/4" long (3.2 cm) x 1" wide (2.5 cm).

Antique Thai cast bronze figure of Garuda crouched on his haunches, with wings open wide. Garuda is the faithful friend and vahana (vehicle) of Vishnu. He is depicted here in anthropomorphic form, with human body but with wings, beak and and legs of an eagle-like sun bird. Garuda is the personification of courage and the enemy of naga, the serpent.

Turn-of-the-century cut-glass perfume bottle with sterling silver stopper. Globular with short and faceted neck and shoulder, and everted rim. Star, fern, and diaper ornament. Globular stopper with dense repousse-style flowers and ferns on stippled ground. Marked “Sterling” with stamp for James R. Armiger Co., a Baltimore maker that began working under that name in 1896. Very good condition with deep patina.

A silver mounted 16th century Annamese vase with definitely the strongest and deepest cobalt blue ever reported on Annamese ware worldwide.
