Pair Chinese Rose Quartz hardstone carved Foo Lions on carved hardwood stands, 19th century, 3 3/4" high with stand and 2 3/4" high without stand, 3 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" deep, with open mouth. There are some natural grains and infusions on the tail and head area. Round hole on the bottom and also on the stand, and tiny chips on the front paw area.

Wonderful Antique Japanese Imari two-piece flower arranger, Meiji Period c 1868-1912; the bowl with looped and reticulated border of interlocking rings, the interior decorated with blue, orange and beige fish and lilies, auspicious symbols of longevity and good fortune. The underside marked with a lucky symbol. The bowl is in good condition, some flaking on the perforated cover. No restoration or chips. The dish measures 12" diameter x 2 3/4" high.

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by a Dresden decorator. We believe that it was made by Donath Dresden because it is marked in red and the coloring and style are similar to others we have had. There is an artist’s signature in the lower right corner of the portrait which may be Wagner. The cup is marked Madame Montesson, wife of King Louis the XV. The saucer is 4 inches in diameter. This antique Iga vase is a true beauty, made of wonderful native Iga clay.

The vase was made between 1800 - 1850 during the later Edo Period and is in great antique condition. No chips or repairs. It comes with an old wooden box and an old cloth bag (which has a small torn part).

Iga ware's origins are believed to date to the second half of the 7th century and 8th century A.D...

Japanese inro with a large standing bull, frontally positioned with head lowered and looking ahead at the viewer. From the ring in his nose is a rope leading off to the side. The reverse image is a scene, entirely in gold lacquer, of rolling hills and pine saplings in the foreground. The inro opens to reveal a compartment lacquered red on the inside with a small removable inset tray.

This is a beautiful complex wire and wireless Japanese cloisonne vase. Though it is not signed, it was made by Gonda Hirosuke during the Meiji Era, circa 1910. All pieces like this we ever seen signed have been signed Gonda. Very few of these wireless fish vases were made by Gonda. The vase is in excellent condition and has silver rims. It was created before Japan began stamping rims with the "jun gin' silver mark in the early 1900's. It stands 7 inches tall and is 7 inches wide.

It has two frogs (eight altogether) on top with a twelve pointed star with continuing concentric circle with stamp decoration. This porcelain chamber stick or candle holder was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It has both impressed shield and printed marking. It measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter and is 2 inches tall. The decoration is elaborate tapestry of flowers, ribbons and gold. The hand painting is precise and extremely fine. The colors are vivid and the gilding is bright. It is a lovely reminder of the past.
