Campanian kylix with four palmettes linked by incised arcs to form a ‘palmette cross’. Thin-walled cup with shallow bowl and gently rounded floor.
Finely impressed palmettes. The linking arcs impressed with a twisted wire.
Former collector’s numeration (95) inside the carefully modeled ring foot. Dark points around the foot indicate that the cup was hold with four fingers when dipped into the black glaze.

Upper part of the seated Isis nursing the Horus child (Harpokrates). The miniature scale head shows detailed facial features. The goddess wears the tripartite wig surmounted by a crown in the shape of the st-seat sign, the hieroglyphic sign used to write her name.
With her right hand she is presenting her left breast to her son, which is now lost.

A beautiful Kangxi style famille verte(susancai)eight lobes dish with flowers, bird and butterfly decorations. Kangxi mark but made in the 19th Century. Excellent condition with only one small ground mark inside the base and one glaze skiping spot above the bird. There are two original holes on the foot rim for hanging the dish. Cotton futonji made of hand-spun cotton and vegetable indigo dye. It has tsutsugaki auspicious motifs such as crane, turtle, plum blossom, bamboo and pine tree. Tsutsugki technique is excellent. This tea kettle / tea pot was made by the Southington Silver Company Ca 1900. It is quadruplated by Gerssmt.

The stand and kettle have the #2104 marked on the bottom.

The swing handle has the initial FWC engraved.

My picture #4 shows the only place where where I see any wear.

The pin for the hinge on the wick cover needs to be replaced.

It is in spectacular shape for its age.

This is a bronze dagger from Luristan dating to roughly 800 BC. It measures 310mm in length and weighs 107 grams. There are no repairs and the only damage appears to be on the "rams horn" decorated pommel. The bronze has a nice untouched patina. The metal is stable and solid.

A nice yellowish patinated shell seal Akkadian, ca. 2340 - 2193 BC.
