Silk panel embroidered with colored threads and golden metallic ribbons, it seems to be gold because the metal is not oxidized. The tail of the phoenix is embroidered with dark gray metallic ribbons, certainly silver that has oxidized. A Five-Clawed Dragon surrounded by clouds and a Phoenix holding a flower in its beak, compete for the sacred pearl. At the bottom a rock is represented on which waves are breaking...

Early 19th century Edo period Japanese sword bronze kashira (metal pommel at the end of the hilt of a sword) with raised decoration of various sea shells, all on finely textured ground called nanako, which means “fish-eggs” as it resembles fine rows of caviar. Wonderful design in Japanese taste, beautifully made piece, obvious age wear. Length 1.34 inches.
This is a bronze dagger from the bactrian culture dating to roughly 200 BC. It is one of the oldest known types of bronze weapons. This one weighs 56 grams and is 192mm in length. It has some damage to the edges and point which should be visible in the photos. It has a very attractive patina and would look great in your ancient weapon collection.
An antique Dutch silver hand made miniature fireplace from 1900 or earlier. This unusual and well-made decorative miniature stands 1-5/8" high and 1-7/8" wide. This is a very unique bronze spear or lance point from the Amlash (or possibly Luristan) culture in ancient Iran(ca 2000 BC). It measures 132mm and weighs 48 grams. It has a fantastic malachite patina. It has four incised rings around the base of the blade and then remnants of two bronze rings which undoubtedly aided in the attachment of the point to a wooden shaft. It has some damage to the edges but is an incredible piece nonetheless.

Finely executed early 20th century miniature bronze figure of a young boy holding giant boot, 4 1/4 inches high and in great condition.
This is a nice little dagger from the collection of the late John Piscopo. Mr. Piscopo's tag will stay with the item. It weighs 42 grams and measures nearly 17cm. It has three rivet perforations in the handle. It does not appear to have any repair and seems fairly solid. This is a good chance to own an inexpensive piece from the Piscopo collection.

This Persian jar is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue and iron brown and covered inside and out in a thick clear glaze with a blue-green tint. It is potted from a buff colored earthenware that is exposed around the lower portion with the glaze forming a rather thick and uneven curtain above. 19th century miniature Hirado porcelain sculpture of a karako (Chinese boy) lying on his back, the upper part of his body raised up. Could have been used as a brushrest. Excellent crisp modeling with incised details - see his wonderful face, well defined hands and clothing details. Beautiful glaze with numerous tiny bubbles giving it depth, unglazed bottom, in excellent condition, very pleasant to the touch. Typical Hirado underglaze blue and brown highlights. Length 2 3/8 inches.
Banded mochaware bowl in blue and brown. Very nicely formed, with a crisply shaped foot rim. The rim has one 1" hairline, and there is some discoloration to the interior (note that the discoloration visible near the rim is actually very thick bluish glaze, and not staining), but otherwise the bowl is in very good condition. 6-3/8" diam; 3-1/8" high.
19th century Edo period (before 1867) Japanese porcelain Hirado plate with scalloped edge and underglaze blue decoration of a dragon in pursuit of a tama (Sacred Gem). Excellent potting, milky white body and clear glaze. Great early painting with charming freedom, wonderful dynamic design - see the flames issuing from the body of the dragon. Some surface wear as to be expected, overall in great condition. Diameter 7 1/4 inches.

One(1) glaze hairline on the cup, outside only, not inside, two(2) or three(3) frits on the rim of the cup.
Majolica Faience large Plate, raised Berry and Rose on top of Basket weave design, 10 3/8" diameter, 1 3/8" high, brown spotted design on the creamy color back, some missed glaze spots under the bottom rim.
This fine Staffordshire copper luster pitcher is decorated with a blue band of enamel, creating a very clean, simple design, accented with beading around the border and rim of the pitcher. Chinese Famille Jaune Porcelain shape Jar, 8" high, 8 1/4" wide-widest middle section, 3 1/2" diameter-top rim, 6 1/2" diameter-bottom, Ca. 1920, with overglaze decoration of Chinese Happiness Characters with two(2) bats inside four(4) round Cartouches surrounded by sprays of pink Peony flowers. Chinese Export wax seal is placed on the bottom, some glaze crazing inside the jar, and minor wears caused by many years of usage in the kitchen.

An late renaissance or baroque period Iron Padlock, European, ca. 16th.-17th. century.
Cast and wrought lock. Very beautiful with an arched moveable part and a keyhole at one end. The lock was cobber braized or plated in the renaissance manor and much cobber can still be spotted in parts of the surface (see pictures).

19th century Chinese soapstone seal carved on the top with a crouching rooster, its head turned right. Wonderful carving, beautiful patina and obvious wear attesting to the age of the object. The bottom is carved with four sunken characters that can be translated as THE HALL OF THE COLOURFUL AND THE EXQUISITE, red seal paste in the grooves - the impression of the seal is shown on Enlargement 1. Very beautiful off-white stone with red veining giving extra depth to the carving - probably Shoushan ...
