The head of the Buddha, carved with benevolent expression, almond-shaped eyes, fragmentary pierced elongated earlobes, straight triangular nose, his hair arranged in rows of stylized curls. This extremely hard to find pre-Khmer piece dates back to circa 350 AD, probably Khrom. Made of black hard stone it is 7 In (17 cms) height of the piece mount not included. This is an authentic Sung Dynasty Vase with Lotus pattern design moulded on it, it in quite a good condiotion except some minor chips on the mouth rim and it has no repair, no crack....glaze is a bit degraded because of burial and natural corrosion, thanks for looking and feel free to enquire.....

Ayutthaya period Bronze Buddha, Siam, mounted, most likely survived the destruction of this ancient Thai capital by the Burmese in 1767, with some parts of the bronze statue partially melted (see photographs). Strong aura/presence. A very rare item, size excluding base: H. 25 cm. x W. 19 cm. x D. 11 cm. (9.75" x 7.5" x 4.25"), heavy.

A Chinese celadon vase, Qing Dynasty. Decorated with dragon. Beautiful colour with blue combination white and red. Height approximately 42 cm. The vase has a hair line 3 cm and inside rim 5 cm (photo number 9). Good condition.

An unearthed celadon Ewer pot was a rare example in Chinese early ceramic history especially for Chinese tea cultures.
A similar piece was found in an excavation site in Hunan Province and now is stored in Hunan Museum.

A rare 16th Century AVA Period Limestone Head of Buddha (Burma, 1287 - 1752) with sweeping eyebrows over downcast eyes, typical of Ava art-style, well modeled lips and elongated ears. Carved in high relief as most likely originally set against a back slab. Condition good, one small chip on tip of nose. This head has been nicely mounted on a black stand. Size: H. 20cm x W. 13cm x D. 12cm, excluding stand.

Diameter approximately 36.5 cm. Height approximately 15.5 cm. Few chips, a hairline. In good condition.

I bought this antique Tibetan ethnic minority needle case years ago in China. Needles were an important sewing tool for women of every indigenous culture and for the Tibetans the needle case was frequently worn as a jewelry accessory for costume adornment festivals. The small jade bi functions as a weight for stability at the bottom of the needle case. It is beautiful.

Qing meiping vase.

Used by the bride for wedding this elaborate kingfisher feather crown is a very old and rare piece. The oldest kingfisher ornaments were made by glueing the feathers onto heavy paper. Metal wire was only used to attach pieces together. Both paper and the feathers are fragile, so not many of these old pieces have survived. This one is in average to good condition, some paper loss and some feather loss...
