An interesting and very rare Wedjat Eye amulet in the openwork design and inscribed on the back with the cartouche of Cartouche of Maatkare (Hatshepsut), New Kingdom, ca. 1479–1458 B.C.

These Eye of Ra amulets are very rarely inscribed with cartouches on the back. This particular amulet is also of special interest since it bears the name of greatest female ruler in the history of the Dynasties, Hatshepsut.

19th Century, Boxwood Netsuke finely hand-carved boxwood netsuke depicting a seated Hotei, the god of Contentment and Happiness, smiling and holding a Fan on his right hand. Signed Shogyoku on the bottom of the netsuke. Nice compact form; wonderful symmetry and patina. Netsuke measures 1.60 inches (4.,0cm) in diameter, and 1.15 inches (2.9cm) tall. It is in excellent condition, as you may be able to see in the posted photos.

Circa 1900 Chinese yellow ochre glazed porcelain standing Quan Yin. Nicely rendered and in excellent condition, it measures 10.25 inches high. Note: Any discoloration in the photos is dirt/dust.

A superb late 19th century first standard (950/1000 pure) silver berry spoon with a shell-form gilt bowl. These spoons were originally intended for serving strawberries. The front of the handle is decorated with a twisting wreath of holly leaves and berries, and the back with a similar wreath of thistles. Small antique tribal Persian chanteh (bag). Hand woven of wool in lovely deep indigo blue and brown. A central rectangle of deep blue has six vertical bands of white with interlocking motifs perhaps of rams horns, a powerful masculine symbol. Framing this is a wide dark brown band which is subtly woven with repeating protective eye motifs. The back of the bag is woven a solid deep brown color. Circa 1900. Size: 17" wide x 13" high

Japanese late Meiji period bronze vase with silver inlaid bamboo decoration on the front. At the bottom of the back is the incised signature of the engraver Mitsunobu. The base reads "Kyoto Kuroda made." 6 1/8" high. Late 19th to early 20th century. Very good overall condition with a nice patina. The silver has not been polished. There is a vertical area on the back that feels slightly flattened, but is barely noticeable.
