A fine Japanese porcelain small tray-form dish with an upturned vertical rim decorated in the centre with a lake, waterfall and pavilion. The base with a fuki chosun mark. A solitary figure paddles past. Circa 1750 ~ 1780.

Ornate sterling silver meat serving fork featuring a heavily scrolled handle with matte-gilt, bright-cut tines. The back is marked "925 Sterling 1000". Many late 19th century silver makers did not otherwise mark their wares.

A creamware mug with a black transfer depicting two men walking across a bridge over a stream that pours into a peaceful river with a sailboat and boat with freight steered by a man in the stern. In the distance people on a point of land and in the far distance, beyond bends in the river, the top of an obelisk shows against the horizon. The oval transfer appears as if it was slightly too tall for the mug, being cut off at the bottom. It is otherwise framed with a laurel leaf surround...

A porcelain plate with a gilt edge, embossed border, the molded edge of the well decorated with elaborate gilding centering on a hand painted botanical specimen of a Feverfew; a member of the daisy family. The plant name is written in script in red enamel and the number “857” in gilt are written on the back. The combination of the embossed border, the botanical sample and the heavy porcelain all indicate that the plate was made and decorated at Spode...

A pearlware child’s mug with the stencil inscription in blue on the front, “A Gift from the Pottery,” in a cut corner rectangle with a seaweed surround. The top and bottom of the mug with a single blue band. The ends of the oval handle spread like a leaf. 2 1/8 inches (5.4 cm) tall, 3 ¼ inches (8.3 cm) across the handle.

Condition: no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Tiny rough spot on the lip and a little wear on the base...

A large, heavily potted English pitcher with an applied strap handle. All of the strong floral decoration is handpainted except for the blue flowers which where the paint was stamped on with a cut sponge. Though it could be earlier the later date of circa 1880 is conservative...

A finely potted six sun sized dish decorated with a traveller clutching his hat and leaning into a cold wind before a snow covered Mount Fuji. The design would appear to be derived from a print of travellers in the Mishima pass, one of the 36 views of Mount Fuji. The reverse painted with a Karakusa arabesque with a single spur mark to the base. The dish dates to the late Edo period and the middle of the 19th century. The dish measures 18.2cm in diameter and stands 3.4cm high at the rim...

Tatou-gami made of recycled old washi (Japanese handmade paper) with kakishibu (persimmon tannin) for waterproof. Tatougami is used for wrapping kimono, precious items and so on. This was used for wrapping old books. It has four cords made of washi too. The second half of the 19th century. In good condition. 62cm x 67.5cm when it is flat.

Cotton cloth with beautiful katazome (stencil-resist dye) with mum motif, which is made of hand spun cotton and vegetable indigo and natural brown dye. In good condition, however colors fades a bit from washing. 19th century. W:35cm, L:168cm

A Southern Chinese or Vietnamese bowl, covered all-over with a pale celadon glaze. This bowl dates to the C14-15th; or before. Quite delicately potted; gently rising from it's low, unglazed, foot to a slightly everted rim. Diameter; 13.5 cm. Condition; In presentable condition wih nice glaze qulaity, there are a couple of small nibble to the underside of the rim, and also the the foot. More photos are available upon request.

19C Chinese Nanking Export Blue and White Porcelain Leaf Dish Antique Chinese 19C Export Blue and White Porcelain Canton Nanking Leaf Dish. Painted in underglaze blue. Depicts a beautiful landscape scene. Size: 18.6 cm long, 13.5 cm wide Condition: Excellent

A underglaze blue hand painted blue and white export plate depicting three sprigs of flowers enclosed in a lobed border with fleur- de-lis and on the outer border a loosely painted fence. The outer edge is painted brown. Given the vague Western references in the decoration the plate is probably after 1750. 8 7/8th inches (22.5 cm) diameter.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Very minor stacking wear...

A Dutch delft tile from between 1625 and 1650 showing a blue flower in the center enclosed in an oval of three blue lines. The single blossom has blue petals and a yellow center. The green leaves on a blue stem grow out of a yellow bulb on the ground. The oval with fleur-de-lis on the sides that correspond with the tile edges that are also decorated in blue with scroll work and vegetation (?). 5 inches (12.5 cm) square and slightly less than ½ inch (slightly more than 1 cm) thick...

Sample book of the Japanese sarasa, whose title is "Kame Jirushi Sarasa Book" It has 56 fragments of silk gauze with katazome (stencil-resist dye) designs. Generally, in good condition. Early 20th century. W:22cm, H:16cm

A pair of soft paste porcelain underglaze hand painted blue and white porcelain plates in the “La Mouche” pattern. These have a mark that I can’t identify, though they may well be a workman’s factory mark. The pattern of the fly buzzing a bush is distinctively from the Tournai factory. The pair of shallow soup plates are 9 1/8 inches (22.86 cm) diameter.

Condition: No chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. Use and stacking wear on both sides of both soups.

Middle Edo Period Japanese Antique Ko-Imari Porcelain Cup with Dragon Painting made over 200 years ago. It was used for buckwheat (Soba-choko). Imari ware has been produced in Hizen area of Saga prefecture of Japan since 17th century. Size Width 2.8in ( 7cm ) Length 2.8in ( 7cm ) Height 2.3in ( 5.9cm ) Weight 3.53oz ( 100g) Condition Overall good. Used. There are few tiny cracks on the edge of bottom rim.

This is an ornate American sterling silver baby food pusher made by Whiting Manufacturing Company in the "HYPERION" Pattern, circa 1888; the inside base of the front handle marked with the maker's mark and STERLING. the outside of the pusher having beautiful repousse, back of pusher monogrammed in Italics JPM; Measurements-handle 3 3/4 inches long, the blade measures 1 5/8 inches across. This traditional summer weight Manchu style (side closing)vest is from late Qing Dynasty. The lush deep blue silk fabric has a jacquard weave with an all over fret design. The lining is of deep maroon silk..the vest is entirely hand sewn, and fits a small to medium size woman.
