Chinese qingbai ware porcelain teapot with a ribbed melon shape body, short flat spout and spiraled handle. The mouth is flared with a thin and short neck. The foot is left bare from the light green crackle glaze on the body.

A lovely unusual Korean wood soban tray table featuring a round top with a scalloped edge. The table has decorative apron and strong tiger legs that taper to thin ankles. This table would be perfect for serving tea to guests or could be used as stunning display stand. In very good antique condition and very sturdy, it measures 17.5" x 11" high.

This is a fine, 18th century Japanese Netsuke depicting a monk laying on top of Hotei's Bag of Treasures. Wonderful expression with beautiful patina, what has torn golden from use on the bottom. Unsigned. Netsuke measures 1.88 inches (4.8cm) wide, 1.22 inches (3.1cm) deep, and, 0.92 inches (2.4cm) tall. It is in excellent condition.

This is a finely carved Japanese Netsuke, made during the 1st Half of the 19th Century, depicting a Blind Oni reading a calligraphy long scroll with a girl. Well carved piece with character and some handling wear. Signed on the bottom Shoryu, a carver who worked during the 1st half of the 19th century, in Japan, according to George Lazarnick in his book 'Netsuke and Inro Artists and How to Read Their Signatures'. Netsuke measures 1.57 inches (4.0cm) wide, and 1.06 inches (2.7cm) tall.

An iconographic scene of the Great Babylonian King and a high priest, both bearded and wearing long dresses, on either side of the alter of the Moon god Sin, probably in the version of local patron Nabu. Behind them in the field, we see the typical Neobabylonian temple or alter structures and above a Sun symbol.

Total 21 Mintons Porcelain Dessert Plates, 7 5/8" diameter, 3/4" high, with brilliant raised etched Gold border on top of the wider Cobalt Blue border. A Sizeable Sterling Silver Fish Knife and Fork by Bigelow Brothers and Kennard, Boston Silversmith and Retailer. This mark was used from 1845-1863, but the firm existed in one form or another from 1830-1922. This interesting Japanese carved ivory netsuke is a late 19th or early 20th century product. It depicts a female figure (perhaps Okame, also known as Uzume or Otafuku, goddess of mirth) carrying a long armed monkey on her back. A younger monkey is sitting in front of her with both arms raised to grasp the hands of the older monkey. It is 2 ¾” high, ¾” wide and ½” thick. The artist signature “Meigyoku” is on the bottom. It is in great condition.

Antique Sri Lankan ceramic figure of seated Hanuman, the Hindu god in monkey form, hero of the Ramayana and devoted friend to Rama. A good 11" gourd shaped porcelain bottle by Hichozan Fukugawa. The enameled decoration is of butterflies fluttering through a garden of multicolored chrysanthemums blooming against a fence of bamboo.

This is a finely hand-carved 19th century netsuke depicting a Horse outfitted with an elegant saddle that appears standing on a base that functions as a Seal. The seal shows traces of ink. An opening in the middle of the seal serves as chimney himotoshi. It has a rich patina and shows a luster and smooth surface. Netsuke measures 0,42 inches (1.1cm) wide, 1.34 inches (3.4cm) wide, and 1.15 inches (2.9cm) tall. It is in excellent preserved condition.

Beautiful 3 piece sterling silver tea set consisting of a teapot, sugar and creamer, all in perfect condition.  It is late 19th century . Antique Japanese tall merchant's box. Made all of kiri (paulownia) wood with iron hardware. The box has a total of 9 small drawers: upper drawers most likely held writing implements, tools or documents while the ink stains on the inside of the lower drawers reveal they once held ink, seals and ink stone. Each drawer has an iron hirute shaped pull and a round lock for keeping important items like the merchant's signature seals safe.
