Antique Tibetan Buddhist small reliquary in stupa form. Made of glass and covered with gold leaf, this votive offering would have once been housed in a larger container and placed at the foot of an architectural stupa acting as either a funeral mound or housing relics of an important person. The shape, with it's rounded body and terraced lid, imitate the larger stupa, a three dimensional mandala and symbol of Buddha.

A nice pair of Danish neolithic chisels dating to Daggertime, 2200-2000 BC.

Interesting neolithic tools with specialized shapes. One with a nearly symmetrical design, the othe with a rounded and hollow edge.

Both are nicely polished and could easily be used today.

An antique statue of the lucky god Han Xiangzi holding a Chinese flute, carved from a large bamboo piece with nice patina. One of the eight immortals of the Chinese Taoist pantheon. The medallion decorated with the head of a satyr with wild locks and curled heavy beard. The face shows a fleshy nose, full lips and wide open eyes topped by marked eyebrows. The bold head with fine floccus. Goat-like ears.
Satyrs and silens were a very popular subject in the decoration of gutti.
The head is from the same mold as inv. no. 20187 in the Bari Archaeological Museum, cf. fig. no. 81 (T84) in: Fernando Gilotta. Gutti e askoi a rilievo italioti ed etruschi. Roma 1985.

A fine pair of mirror image blue opaline glass vases with enameled butterflies and flowers. Attributed to Thomas Webb & Sons, these date circa 1860-1880. The vases are in excellent antique condition with only loss to the gilt on the rims and an area on the back. Measures 12.75" high x 5.5" diameter. A truly beautiful and rare find.
