Another dream piece, Ming Dynasty, Hongzhi period ( 1488- 1505 ). Excavated in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Wonderful Cobalt blue, superb execution of the Peacock design, just enjoy the images. Diameter : 31,8 cm. Condition : One old genuine fiering crack from the time of production of the piece and one lost to the footrim of the piece also from the time of production. This is the third piece of a group of three extremely rare, perfect and superb Yuan iron splashed pieces. An extremely rare Yuan Altar vase attached to a pierced stand, decorated with splashed iron brown spots and a Qingbai ( Yingqing ) glaze over a porcelain body. Yuan Dynasty 1279 - 1368. H: 13 cm. B: 6,4 cm. Condition: Perfect.

A Korean, celadon bowl with incised decoration of two parrots to the interior of the bowl; Goryeo dynasty. The beautiful bluish green colour has turned an olive-green colour, in part, due to the incomplete oxidising atmosphere of the kiln. Dimension; 17cm diameter. Condition; a couple of long hairlines eminating from the rim, a chip to the rim, slightly warped, and firing imperfections.

Extremely rare example of Early Ming dynasty large blue and white bowl, decorated to the exterior with Eight Buddhist emblems or such known as Bajixiang supported by Lotus flower. Xuande six characters mark to the rim and of the period. Condition is damaged and re-glued. Diameter: 29 cm and Height: 10,3 cm.

A Korean, inlaid slip (sanggam), celadon brush washer for the scholar's desk; Goryeo dynasty. Delicately potted and with a fine coloured glaze, this washer is fully glazed with three kiln-support marks to the foot. It is inlaid with floral decoartion to both the interior and exterior. An interesting Cambodian cast bronze statuette representing the Hindu god Vishnu standing with his 4 arms. The bronze bears an excellent original patina which confirms the dating, 12th century Khmer art.Typical clothing and jewelry. The Asian Art Museum houses a superb similar statue, a photo of which is attached. A wooden plinth was made around 1900 to stabilize the statue. Height without the wooden base: 115 mm (4.5 inches).
