Rare Warring States, circa 475–221 BCE, squat gray pottery jar, with incised wave, impressed diamond and large carved spiral patterned bands. The spiral pattern is quite interesting as this is usually only seen on archaic jade bi from the period. Some of the tips of the spiral are broken otherwise superb condition considering its delicacy and age. The surface absorbs water very quickly with a distinct petrichor scent. D: 28cm/11in and H: 14cm/5.5in.

This amulet is carved from a beautiful blue-green stone, most probably jasper and has been done with great attention to detail. The surface has a wonderful "mellow" patina and great tactile appeal. It measures 1"in height and is free from any restoration or re-carving. Inserted on a wooden stand, easily removed, should one desire. Dating to the Middle Kingdom. Ex London art market. A Changsha ewer was preserved in a very fine condition.
Being applied on the surface with low-relief grapevine motifs and highlighted with brown glaze, this ewer pot was presented in a quite decent look. Some degradations and fret were yielded due to long time of age.
But the overall condition is stable and firm.

This is a bronze Scythian brooch from an ancient Eurasian Steppe culture dating back to the 6th-4th Century B.C.
