Description:

A bronze boy was well cast in solid way.
In lying posture, the boy was half-naked revealing his hips and penis.
It was believed from the unknown custom of the Sa-Man people of north-eastern China.
Nice and warm patina was kept when sandy-feel surface was left due to long time of age.
Adhesives were preserved in the crevices.
It can be a nice brush-rest by the lying shape.

19th century or earlier Japanese sword set of fuchi (bordering piece between the sword guard and the handle) and kashira (metal pommel at the end of the hilt of a sword) with design of flowering prunus branches issuing from an old tree stump. Silver inlays and gilding (wear), finely textured ground called nanako, which means “fish-eggs” as it resembles fine rows of caviar. Kashira length 1.32 inches, fuchi length 1.5 inches.

Embroidered with the Forbidden Stitch or Peking Knot. With scenes of figures in gardens with pavillions. Ca. 2nd half 19th century. L. 50 cm. Comes with an old valuation report from Christie's Denmark, made in 1991. Good condition with light stains and discoloring.

A hand painted blue and white tile of a wolf, at least that is what it looks like though the head is a little odd, in profile running to the left. The animal is surrounded by a circle of a wavy line with dots in the wave troughs. Flowers fill the corners. It is 5 1/8 inches (13 cm) square about ½ inch (1.2 cm) tall. This is an extremely fine early 19th century balustroid wine glass made in the 18th century style. It is lead glass, and has a large funnel bowl which sits atop a triple ring collar, below which is a center section of an unusual and uncommon cylinder knop, followed by two angular knops. It has a conical folded foot with a rough, snapped pontil.
