This is a Yuan Dynasty(1277-1367) celadon covered box. The top cover has a double circle with radiating club shaped like a sun ray all round. Just below it, is the design of foliage circling the all round. The flower part of the covered box also has foliage design design followed by a club shaped motif. The colour of the top half is lighter than the lower half of the covered box.
The covered box has minor abrasion and minute pinholes. No chip, crack, repair or restoration...

This piece is a fantastic specimen of Southeast Asian art from the 12-13th century Khmer culture. It was cleaned several years ago by the previous owner but does retain some of its original patina. It appears to have been crafted in two pieces and is cast from either a copper or possibly a silver alloy - though I have not had it tested. It is just under 19 cm tall and weighs 335 grams.

An elaborate finely moulded "Blanc de Chine" figure group with elaborate applied decoration. This item was made in the Dehua kilns, Fujian province, south China circa 1890-1910. Condition - there has been a clean break to the back of the hand holding the staff on the male figure (see enlargement no. 5) and what appears to be an underglaze firing crack to the hand of the lady (enlargement no. 7) - otherwise excellent, no chips and no restoration. 9.5 inches (24cm) high.
