Chinese carved thick Nephrite Jade Butterfly Pendant or Plaque, Ca. before 1920, 2" high, 1 1/2" wide, 3/8" thick, carved both side and shows grain in the stone on one(1) side.

Measuring 15.5" long x 8.25" high x 1.75" deep, this circa 1890s, wonderful and quite fancy, hand-cut iron utensil or clothing rack sports 5 hooks for hanging. It features an unusual stylized heart or perhaps even a stylized floral design which adds to its visual appeal. Condition is very good with excellent, warm patina. Faint pitting and minimal traces of rust. A hanging-hole on each end is present for easy mounting. A visually-attractive antique iron piece with utilitarian purpose!

Mexican Pre Columbian Tlatilco Terracotta grotesque head. Rare fragment from an early culture c 1200bc-600bc. Tlatilco is noted in particular for its high quality pottery pieces, many featuring Olmec iconography. Tlatilco figures were known for their elaborate hair styles. This antique pair of wooden spoons were hand carved and delicately shaped. The handles are deeply arched and the ends are painted with a gilded paint. They were heavily covered with a clear lacquer finish.

This demitasse cup, saucer and dessert plate was produced in France by Haviland Limoges before 1900. The plate has a diameter of 7 1/2 inches, the saucer is 4 5/8 inches in diameter and the cup is 2 inches high. The plate and saucer are scalloped with a ripple molded into the border. Three(3) Chinese Export Porcelain Rose Mandarin Demitasse Cups and three(3) Export Porcelain Rose Medallion Demitasse size Saucers, Ca. cups-1830-1840, saucers-1860's, both designs are typical Roses and Mandarin figures in the garden. They are not set but will go together, they were made in different times. Saucers have couple hairline cracks and one of saucer has chips on the bottom rim, cups are in fine condition and large Mandarin figures are all around outside the cup.

Antique Medieval 12th-15th century A.D. hand-forged iron sickle, with slender blade and short flat tang.

This type of sickle was part of the equipment of mounted warriors, a tool useful during military expeditions to cut the grass for the horse. A knight should also have a leather or canvas bucket for watering the horse.

Fine Small Chinese Song / Yuan Dynasty Celadon Glazed Porcelain Jar

This attractive small porcelain jar was made in the 12th - 14th century during the Song (AD 960 - 1279) or the Yuan Dynasty (1279 - 1368). It is quite "heavily-potted" and coated in a thick pale olive-green glaze. The body, when soft, was indented with five wide vertical impressions to give it a lobed appearance. The foot remains unglazed revealing the pale grey body. There is a small kiln scar to the body.

This porcelain tea cup and saucer was produced in England by Royal Crown Derby in 1891. The date cipher indicates this year. The saucer has a diameter of 5 3/8 inches and the cup is 2 inches high. The set is made of translucent bone china. The cup has a puffy, quatrefoil shape with a handle that looks like rope. The set is decorated with an Imari type pattern taken from the Japanese. Small and lovely figurine of Guanyin, the Buddhist goddess of Mercy, late 19th – early 20th century. Creamy white glaze over finely modelled details. The goddess is seen seated with a joss stick bowl to her left. Incised Chinese signature to the inside. Height: "6 ¾/ 17,5 cm. Condition: the left hand should be holding a sceptre, now missing, plus small damage to fingers of right hand.

With the purchase of the lease on the Nymphenburg factory by Albert Baumi in 1887 the factory started to re-produce figures that had been originally made in the 18th century. This figure of a Turk, originally modeled by Bustelli, is one of those. Like many of the 18th century figures this one is not decorated with colors. 4 ¾ inches (12 cm) tall and 5 ¼ inches (13.5 cm) across the base. Shield mark and the numbers 192 and 0 impressed on the underside.

Lovely hand silk embroidered alter “skirt” with the Eight Chinese Immortals and three double happiness roundels at the top. I recently acquired this with a group of other vintage textiles; this is in perfect condition with a lovely palate of colors. 19th century Indian bronze votive sculpture of Ganesha sitting on a round base, cast in the Indian state of Karnataka. Ganesha is the remover of obstacles, and thus is invoked before any new undertaking. He bestows good luck on his worshippers, and is invoked in marriage ceremonies and in some forms of Tantric worship. Rather unusual late Taisho - early Showa (1920s) Japanese boxwood scoop for loose tea, its handle carved as the head of angry Daruma, Patriarch of Zen Buddhism. Beautifully carved, nice patina, signed on the front with 3 characters that appear to read CHUKOBI. It is very unusual to see signed tea scoop. Length 3 inches.
