Rare Quezal Art glass footed sherbet or sorbet cup and saucer. The 2 pieces are iridescent gold with strong hues of fuchsia. We believe this to be one of Quezal's earlier pieces, dating 1902-1910. These 3 plates were produced in France at a Paris Porcelain manufacturer in the early to mid 19th century. They are unmarked. The plates measure 8 5/8 inches in diameter. The plates have stilt markings on the back, evidence of their early production. Each plate is expertly hand painted realistically with bunches of flowers. The pansies are vivid and perky looking. The lilacs are so real you can almost smell them. The rose is splendid, opening with its myriad petals...

A wine glass with a large flared bell bowl with a solid base. The stem is of the multiple spiral air twist (MSAT) type, above a conical foot. 6 7/8 inches tall, bowl diameter 3 inches, foot diameter 2 7/8 inches. Perfect condition and the discrepancy between the bowl and foot diameters is due to the large flare of the bowl.

Hand painted with flowers and delicate tendrils on a matt finish by Mount Washington, this lovely mushroom shaped holder was designed to be used as a sugar shaker or flower holder (Ref: "Mount Washington Art Glass" by Betty B. Sisk, 2003). The background has a pale pink blush on the top and again at the base which fades into a slightly off white background. A beautifully fashioned English antique firing dram glass. Most glasses of this type (opaque twist firing glasses) have an ogee or ovoid bowl, as opposed to this funnel, or conical, type. The lower half of the bowl is fluted, while the stem contains a double series opaque twist comprised of a pair of spiral threads outside of a central gauze.
Condition is excellent, with no problems at all. Good color, striations, and tooling...

A lovely antique crystal plaque by Baccarat encasing a sulphide or "cameo incrustation" of the "Madonna and Child". This particular sulphide is one of the two known depictions of Mary and Jesus used by Baccarat during the classic period of paperweight production. It is a large version and shows Mary supported by a swirling cloud of angels. The back of the plaque is cut in a waffle pattern and the edges are finished in with curved gadroons...

Signed, Wm. S. Morgan, Somerset Co, 1872, this woven wool coverlet was made in Somerset County in Jenner Township, Pennsylvania. In 1870, the factory employed ten workers and produced a variety of woolen goods, including blankets and coverlets. Condition is good, but does have some damage, please study photos. Measures 66" x 72".

A rare box fully inscribed with fine caligraphy from the Coran and still with remnants of the original 300-400 years old content inside. The box has a lid and the hinges and lock are in intact workable condition. Silver is testing more than .800, though there's no silver marks.
Size: 56-57 mm. in diameter and c 25 mm. tall.
Ex. Danish Private Collection.

A very good Classic Period glass paperweight with a pinchbeck design. The scene depicts the "Descent from the Cross" and shows two centurions, Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus taking the body from the cross while Mary weeps at Jesus' feet.
