A very nicely molded Leeds creamware plate with underglaze blue decoration of an oriental man standing beside a low fence holding a parasol in one hand and pointing with his other while the birds fly in the sky beyond. Impressed mark that reads, “EDS*POTTERY.” 9 ¼ inches diameter (23.5 cm).

Condition: no chips cracks hairlines or repairs...

Large vase by Roger Guerin, circa 1920, offered in excellent condition. This vase measures 7 1/4" in height and 7" at its widest. An impressive bulbous vase with horizontal striations on the bottom 2/3 of the vessel. It is signed "Guerin" and inscribed "M 30" for form and size. We currently have a number of vases by Roger Guerin in our inventory, as well as by other prominent artists of the Bouffioulx and Chatelet school. Reference: " Sel et Feu".

A large Alberello vase or jar in choice condition, probably Sicilian or Spanish and dating to the later 17th. century.

Finely decorated with maganese blue on a white ground with floral motifs. The alberello of a waisted form.

A larger than usual maiolica dry jug jar painted on the front with the scene of Saint Martin dividing his cloak with a beggar. On the back is the cypher for the Carthusian order and the date 1700. Unfortunately it is highly unlikely that this is the date of manufacture for the jar, which is almost certainly from the late 19th century and is loosely based on the series of jars that were made from 1697 into the early 18th century...

This porcelain vase on stand was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1878. The date letter indicates this year. It vase stands 5 7/8” high and is 5 ¾” across the handles. The piece appears to be in two pieces, the bowl on the top and a stand on the bottom but is it made in one piece. The Asian inspired shape and design evolved from the Aesthetic movement. Friezes of gilded peonies and a gilded bird in flight, surrounded by flowering branches decorate each side of the bowl...

A rare solid jasperware child's teapot, the reliefs designed by Lady Templetown. Around 1790, unmarked, by Wedgwood, Adams or Turner. To one side a scene of a young mother reading a book, slippers on her feet, her little daughter playing with a doll. The other side shows Poor Maria with her dog, Maria being a character from a popular novel of the period. The teapot might also have been produced as a solitaire, for one person only. Offered is this beautiful cameo glass covered jar, made by Val St Lambert. The jar is 4 1/4 inches (10,5 cm) tall and 2 1/2 inches (6,5 cm) wide. It is in excellent condition (there are a couple of fabrication flaws: smooth, tiny dimples on the rim of the jar - see last picture). Properly signed (see picture).

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Nymphenburg in the 1890s. The saucer has a diameter of 4 ½ inches and is 1 inch deep. The cup is 2 ¼ inches high. The porcelain is fine, white, hard paste. There is a hand painted scene on the front of the cup with colorful exotic birds. The saucer has little insects scattered about. There is lacy gold trim around the rims of each piece. CONDITION: Excellent, first quality

German Meissen Porcelain Ming Red Dragon Vase with German hallmarked Silver mounted on top rim, Ca. late 1800's, 5 5/8" high, 2 3/4" diameter-top rim, 2" diameter-bottom rim, with Ming Red Dragon in flame. Meissen underglaze Blue Cross Sword mark plus red numbers and impressed letters and numbers marked on the bottom. The condition is good.

This pair of porcelain candle holders was produced in Germany by Schierholz & Son in the 1890s. They are 6 3/4 inches high. Under the candle holder and bobesch is the head and wings of a cherub in three dimensions. Their sweet little faces are beautifully modeled and hand painted. The trunks of the candle holders have bunches of tiny blue and pink flowers sprouting from them. The bottoms of the holders end in a tripod effect. This porcelain covered vase was produced in Germany at Nymphenburg in the 1890s. It is 7 1/4 inches high. The shape is Asian in style. The decoration is beautifully hand painted with delicate vines of tiny flowers entwined around strands of ribbon. The colors are vivid and there are accents of gold in the design. A scarce and very impressive large white bronze / bell metal Cauldron, Northern Europe, Sweden or Denmark, c. mid 18th. century.

The exceptional cauldron were part of luxery interior of a kitchen of an important mansion / manor in the 18th. century and is with initials from the family. The cauldron is tanding three seperately cast legs and two Gothic style handles are attached, concenthric decoration and initials in relief as part of the casting.

A lovely set of three pewter measuring mugs for quarter, Pint and 1/2 pint, England, 18th.-19th. century.

Scarce as a complete set in this quality with brass rims and profusely inscribed with owners names and fine pewter touchmarks. The Quarter mug (1 quart Imperial capacity) is quite large and would probably have contained nearly a liter liquid. Brass rim measures are considered to have been used to measure shell fish and dry produce, though.

An English antique ale glass with an elongated ogee bowl raised on a double series opaque twist (DSOT) stem containing a pair of corkscrews outside of a pair of heavy spiral threads.

The glass stands 7 7/8 inches tall, with a bowl diameter of 2 1/8 inches and a very wide stance foot diameter of 3 1/8 inches. Good color, striations, and tool marks, with a conical foot with a rough snapped pontil. Wonderful condition with no flaws or restoration.
