This porcelain plate was produced in England by the Royal Cauldon Manufacturer in the 1890s. It is artist signed B. Harrison. The plate measures 9 ½ inches in diameter. It is hand painted with realistic flowers in brilliant colors. There is ornate gilding and gilded accents. The gray border is livened up with gilding. Condition: There is some wear to gilding in the border design and slight scuffs to the center gilding.

Offered is this beautiful iridescent Favrile / Aurene type glass vase, made by Quezal around 1910. The signed vase is 6 1/4 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches wide at the shoulders. Polished pontil. In good condition (couple of scratches - see last picture).

A fine mid-19th century pressed glass paperweight in the form of a recumbent lion resting on an opaque glass base. The lion is beautifully detailed and finished in a frosted surface. This lion is similar to one produced by Gillinder for the 1876 Centennial Exposition, but it is much more finely made. The underside of the black base is impressed “490”.

This porcelain tea bowl and saucer was produced in England at the Derby Porcelain Works between 1770 and 1784. It has the gilded letter “D” and anchor mark on each piece. The saucer has a diameter of 4 3/4 inches and the cup is 3 inches in diameter and 1 3/4 inches high. The porcelain is molded with ribs making the edges scalloped. The decoration is modest. This porcelain serving dish was produced in France in the late 19th century by Delinieres & Co., Limoges. The dish was sold white ware to an artist who decorated it in their studio. It has a signature on the back. There are handles molded into the porcelain in the shape of flowers. The painting of the orchid is very beautiful with foliage and ferns accompanying it. There is heavy gold trim around the rim. Condition: Excellent

A lovely early North-European bronze tripod Pan, dating to the 17th.-18th. century AD.

An early type of Scandinavian bronze or bell-metal pan for open fire with three legs and a closed handle. Later crude owners initials and dating to 1806. This particular alloy and type dates to c. 1690-1720.

The pan with wonderful patina, extensive wear and numerous repairs from the time of use.

This miniature porcelain cup and saucer was produced in Germany by Helena Wolfsohn in the 1880s. The saucer is 3 inches in diameter and the cup is 1 1/2 inches high. The set is hand painted in the Meissen style. There are alternating panels of yellow with flowers and scenes of lovers in gardens. The set is trimmed with lacy gilding. This cup and saucer was a display piece or collector’s item. Condition: Excellent

This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Trenton, New Jersey, USA, by Lenox around 1906. It was produced especially for The Cowell & Hubbard Company of Cleveland, Ohio. The saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The cup is 2 inches tall with a diameter of 2 1/4 inches. The porcelain has the distinctive ivory hue. A unusually fine example of a scrambled weight by the New England Glass Company. The weight includes latticinio twists and millefiore canes. The set-up includes a complex red, white and blue cane (visible through the concave bottom of the weight) formed of a heart silhouette surrounded by stars. The canes are tightly packed for a very nice appearance. The glass is quite clear.

This porcelain plate was produced in England by Copeland between 1851 and 1885. It measures 8 3/4 inches in diameter. The plate is made of fine bone china. The celeste blue rim is reticulated. The center of the plate is hand painted with floral bouquets and colorful swags of flowers. The painting is delicate and detailed. There are gilded accents and trim around the rim. Red Lacquered Papier Mache Pencil Box, beautifully painted of children at play in gold and other soft colors near the bridge, 1 1/4" high, 8 5/8" x 3 3/4" wide. This pencil box has divided interior and hinged top with small round brass button in front to operate the openings and closing when you push the brass button. The lacquer painting on top of the lid is in good condition. There are some red lacquer losses under the top and inside.

A set of six Dutch delft wall tiles of a hand painted blue basket of fruit inside a square with a white square behind it at 45 degrees with the same orientation as the tile with its manganese ground. A fourth of a blue flower with a touch of manganese is painted in each corner. Each tile is approximately 5 3/16 inches (13.5 cm) square. Though the theme remains the same each tile has some different details, e.g. one has a bug over the basket.
