This porcelain serving dish or plate was produced in Germany by Rosenthal between 1898 and 1906. It was sold white ware to a studio artist for decoration. It has a diameter of 10 1/2 inches. This piece is a fantastic specimen of Southeast Asian art from the 12-13th century Khmer culture. It was cleaned several years ago by the previous owner but does retain some of its original patina. It appears to have been crafted in two pieces and is cast from either a copper or possibly a silver alloy - though I have not had it tested. It is just under 19 cm tall and weighs 335 grams.

This pair of porcelain candle holders was produced in Germany by Schierholz & Son in the 1890s. They are 6 3/4 inches high. Under the candle holder and bobesch is the head and wings of a cherub in three dimensions. Their sweet little faces are beautifully modeled and hand painted. The trunks of the candle holders have bunches of tiny blue and pink flowers sprouting from them. The bottoms of the holders end in a tripod effect.
