Copeland Spode: six small blue and white cups and saucers and a milk jug, a part toy tea service. All transfer-printed in the Italian pattern, early 20th century. Height of the little jug:/ "1 ¾ / 4,3 cm, of the cups: 2 ¼"/5,5 cm, diam. of saucers: 4"/10,5 cm. All marked Copeland Spode´s Italian England. Condition: one saucer with a discreet star crack, otherwise fine.

A stunning hand painted Art Nouveau porcelain centerpiece 1890 1900. This true Nouveau table decoration is likely German or Austrian. This 14-1/4" tall and 10-1/4" wide decorative item would look good on the table or on the mantlepiece. Constructed of two pieces, the bowl and base, it has a figure on a column in the center of the lower bowl, which has finely molded openwork flowing handles...

Patented January 1890. What is unusual about this lamp is that it is a finger lamp, too. That is a safety feature.

A pair of 19thC Japanese Meiji blue and white porcelain covered bowls. This fine pair consists of the 4-3/4" diameter footed bowls and their 5-1/4" covers with a rimmed foot or receptacle on the top. The covers can be placed on the rim to act as side dishes to the bowls. The hand painted blue and white design includes dragons, panels and scenes and each has hand painted gold highlights...

This pair of porcelain vases with lids was produced in England by the Royal Crown Derby factory in1895. The date cipher indicates this year. The vases measure 8 inches tall and are 5 inches in diameter. The fine bone china is molded with designs in high relief. These decorations are accented with bright gilding. The front of each vase is decorated with a gilded basket of flowers. The flowers are hand painted with raised colored enamels. They contrast against the cobalt ground like jewels...

This porcelain sugar and creamer was produced in the United States by Ott & Brewer Belleek in the late 19th century. The sugar bowl is 4 inches across and 1 3/4 inches high. The creamer is 3 1/2 inches high. The porcelain is highly translucent. The interiors of each piece have a high glaze and the outside has a matte finish. It feels rather like satin. They are expertly hand painted by a factory decorator. The decoration is pink anemones with gilded foliage...

Stunning cut Bohemian glass powder jar with top-notch polychrome enameling. The lid is decorated with a wonderful scene of an 18th century gentleman surrounded by bowers of flowers. The sides of the jar are decorated with a wreath of flowers and acanthus leaves. The sides are cut in a St-Louis diamond pattern. The rims of both the jar and the lid are gilt. The bottom of the jar is cut with oval printies alternating with mitres...

Stunning 2nd Empire pink opaline glass chalice with gilt and enamel decoration. The outside surface has a matte finish except along the lip, the foot rim and the knop rim, each of which is decorated with gilt lines. The primary decoration, however, fills nearly the entire surface with built-up layers of gilding accented with black enamel. The base has a slightly concave polished pontil.

Origin: France, possibly Baccarat, ca. 1840...

Demitasse black and white coffee can and saucer by Bodley & Co in Staffordshire, c 1870. The pattern, numbered 3438, is of various whimsical silhouetted scenes – a charging officer and fusiliers, firefighting, dueling with walking sticks, an arguing couple, a fat guardsman etc. Impressed mark Bodley. The deep well of the saucer makes the ensemble into a “trembleuse” – a design that made it easier to move the cup from one place in the room to another...

This pair of porcelain vases was produced in England by Royal Worcester in 1879. Hand painted birds are done by the artist John Hopewell...

An early English 7-3/4" high large footed comport or tazza made by Wedgwood in 1878-9. This elegant Neoclassic design table serving piece measures 12-3/4" across the two handles and features fine hand painted gilding, a black transfer design (on top and underneath the plate) and relief molding to the handles, edge and foot. It is in the Corinth pattern, which is marked in underglaze black transfer lettering, and it is impressed WEDGWOOD PEARL with GH over P, 1813 pattern number and a triangle ...

A Large Round Copeland Tray or Platter in Blue on a White background with a Scalloped Rim with a Gold Edge. The dimension is 15" in diameter, with a height of 1.5". The date mark is for 1881, with the Copeland imprint on the underside. In excellent condition.

Three perfume bottles: a white opaline bottle with arabesque decoration in blue and gilt, a white opaline with a winding snake in blue and a dark blue bottle with decoration of small flowers in white enamel and gilt. All three late 19th century. No stoppers. Height "3 ½ - 5 ¾ / 9 – 14.5 cm. Condition: fine, except for some wear to the gilt.

Flint EAPG goblet in the "Washington" pattern produced by the New England Glass Company. The clarity is excellent.

Origin: America, ca. 1860. Condition: no chips or cracks, normal frost wear on base. Size: 5-13/16" high.

Offered is this beautiful antique oil lamp (the lamp has been electrified), made by Sheldon. It is made in the highly collectible swirled-glass decor. The lamp is 7 1/2 inches tall (to bulb-socket) and 4 1/4 inches wide at its widest. There are a couple of base chips (the larger one shown in 7th picture). It is guaranteed to be an authentic antique Sheldon lamp - a similar lamp is shown on page 120 of Catherine Thuro's book, 'Oil Lamps II - gas & kerosene lamps' (shown in last two pictures here ...
